Hurriedly, I rush to get ready to school. "Why are you in such a hurry?" Mom asks.

"I want to walk with Jimin," I say before leaving the house. Looking around, I spot Jimin a few ways behind me. I start walking super slow until he catches up with me. "Hey Jimin."

Jimin greets me back with a grin, like usual. "You're early today," he says as we continue walking to school.

"Do you believe in vampires?" I ask him out of the blue.

"It depends on what you tell me."

I wait anxiously as my last class is dismissed, quickly heading out the door. Running out the door, I stand in the shadows of a tree nearby the gate, waiting for Jimin. After several minutes, I finally spot Jimin walking out of the building and heading towards the gate.

I blend in with the shadows, making sure that he doesn't see me. Secretly, I quietly walk behind him, watching him. Jimin turns right into the alleyway, disappearing from my vision. My mind becomes confused as I suddenly feel a presence appear in front of Jimin although I never sensed the presence from anywhere else.

Slowly creeping into the alleyway, I see Jimin talking to a dark figure. "You're shaking.. what's wrong?" Jimin asks the figure, putting his hands on the side of its arms to make sure that it doesn't fall. As the figure shakes and wobbles, I can see long strands of hair swaying. It's a girl?

"I.. I'm getting weaker everyday." She speaks. My mind throbs as I hear her voice, as if I'm trying to remember something. Trying to calm down my throbbing head, I crouch down behind a nearby trashcan.

"If there's anything I can do, please tell me," Jimin tells her. I furrow my eyebrows in confusion and anger at his words.

"Meet me here again. I need to go.." The girls says before speeding off into the darkness, stumbling many times on the way. Quickly, I leave the alleyway before either of them notices that I'm there.

Racing my way back home, I tell myself that I'll confront them tomorrow.

Again, I wait behind the same tree, looking for Jimin. Once more, Jimin comes out when everyone else is gone. Following a little ways behind him, he walks down the same alleyway as before.

I hide myself in the shadows as Jimin waits for the girl to appear. After a few minutes, she finally appears in front of him, stumbling along the way. Jimin wraps his arms around her, noticing how weak she is. The girl stumbles into his arms, leaning against him. "I.." She says dryly against her dehydrated throat.

"Yah.. you could of told me before.. I don't mind," Jimin says to her even though she didn't say anything else. "You can take my blood."

I sit back in shock from Jimin's words with my mouth wide open. I was about to get up to stop them until the girl shakes her head to his words. "I can't.. It's not right," She says sorrowfully. Jimin hugs her head to her chest, holding her with his heart beating calmly. Sighing, I look down at my hands, wanting to be angry but I instead feel depressed. My anger that I had before fades away into a sad feeling that I can't describe.

When I look back up, I can see Jimin's hand cupped on the side of her neck, pressing her lips against his. My chest suddenly takes a charp pain as if I just got stabbed in the dead center. The girl says nothing as he pulls himself away from her lips and softly brushing down her hair. "I'll take you home," he tells her, leading her out of the alleyway with his arm still wrapped around her.

Slumping against the brick wall, I watch them as they leave with a tear falling down my cheek. The memory of feeling sweet, soft lips opens up in my mind, yet I don't remember anything else from it. Someone's smile keeps haunting my mind, pressing at things that I don't remember.

I end up at home, in front of my bedroom door. My eyes lock onto my mom's blue essence sitting on my desk. Holding my breath, I grab the bottle and head into my bathroom, dumping the liquid down the sink. I fill the small glass bottle with blue windex liquid and place it back onto my desk. Finally, I can breathe normally and let my fangs out without forgetting what I'm doing. "She's hiding something.." I say out loud now that I've realized that liquid wasn't just essence after all.

This time I get up early and sit behind the bushes in front of my house, waiting for Aruka to head to school. After a few minutes, she starts heading to school with the man in the doctors coat heading in the opposite direction from her. Silently, I move in front of her door, using my newly found telekinesis to unlock the door and let myself in. The house felt basically empty as I looked around. Going in and out of the rooms, I finally find Aruka's bedroom.

Opening her drawers, I look everywhere to find clues about something, anything that can help me. From the corner of my eye, I see a corner of paper sticking out from under her pillow. Pulling out the paper, it turns out to be a picture of two people smiling happily. The girl was beautiful and healthy looking, smiling like everything in life was perfect. My brain aches once more as I stare at her, "..Saku..ra?" I say unconsciously. Slowly, my eyes flicker to the person next to her. It's a boy that looks exactly like me. Tears drip down my face in confusion as I wonder how shut out from the world I am right now. "What is going on?" I ask in desperation while putting the picture back in place. Gathering myself together, I leave the house and head after Aruka.
