"so go to school or go check out my apartment?" jin asked but i was sure he wasn't giving me a choice.
"you're willing to skip school again?" i sighed and he chuckled while smacking his knee.
"i only go to school so i wouldn't have to deal with cathy or our principal's nagging." i didn't even realize my nose wrinkled to express my disaccord.
he gets defensive as he stares at my reaction.

"don't look at me like that, it's not like i'm the type to wag school okay, i'll go to school tomorrow."
"uh huh." i nod and he lets out a sigh.
"come on, i'll show you the way to the apartment."

the drive was at least 10 minutes away. the structure of the establishment looked as if there was two buildings joined together, on the left was white painted walls with large green vines growing over the windows, trying to reach to the roof and on the right side were yellow peeling walls with small graffiti lining the bottom of the property. i wasn't sure what the owner of the building was trying to accomplish with such an unusual design but i have seen worse.

the neighbourhood was quiet, most likely from lack of people around the area but i liked it that way. no loud traffic could be heard, most of the residents were older but very welcoming people. jin nudged me forward to get my attention and insinuate i follow after him.

inside was dark with flickering lights, heavily stained carpets lined the hallway floors with cracked and ancient wallpapers decorating the rooms. after jin had talked with the staff at the counter, we made our way to our room and stopped at a red door on the second floor at the end of the hallway that read '694'.

"well this is it, don't expect too much." jin exhaled nervously, his hands shakily makes its way towards the doorknob. i smiled at the thought of him getting anxious due to the possibility of me disapproving his choice to live in such a place. he was that concerned but i allowed him to rest easy once i assured him everything was fine.
"i'm sure it's lovely."

he unlocks and opens it, revealing a one bedroom apartment with a mini kitchen on the side, a bathroom and laundry room by the right corner of the entrance and a king size bed in the centre of it all. this left barely any space to walk around the room freely. there was also large windows opposite to the main door which would have exposed the majority of the room if not for the thick curtains covering the view.

i walk towards the bed and lie down, casually stretching whilst releasing satisfied moans, making
myself comfortable. it was perfect.

"so how do you like it?" jin uttered whilst observing the room.
"i love it. jin this really means so much to me, thank youuu!" i call out and he nods to himself happily.
"this is nothing." a small blush reddens his cheeks and he tries hiding it by covering his face and changing the subject.
"i asked for the first aid kit from the people at the counter. medicine, cream, it should be all in here." he headed to the small cabinets in the kitchen, rummaging through pots and pans until he notices a small red transparent box in the bottom draws of the kitchen sink.

"come here jisoo, let's patch you up a bit."
i saw him taking out a finger sized gel tube and loosened the lid, waiting for me to near him so he could apply the cream for me.
"you know i can do this myself right?" i asked and he opposes.
"you'll miss some of your injuries, just let me do it." once i was standing beside him, without a warning he lifts me onto the bench top and gently brings my arm towards him. i didn't have time to react but i could feel my body heating up. "hopefully this'll reduce the swelling and get rid of the bruises faster."
as he finishes smearing the ointment on my arms,
and legs, he moves to the other side of the table so that my back was facing him and slowly lifts my shirt.

"w-wait you can't just-" i feel the cold air brushing against my back and heat rushes to my cheeks. i'm trying to pull it back down but jin's grip at the hem of my shirt remains held upwards just above my bra almost exposing my entire bare back.
"jin! wait-"
"jisoo...y-your back. it's completely bruised." i calm down a little once i take notice of his disquieted expression and the hint of anger he tries to hide through silence. he applies the gel apathetically all over my back in silence, his finger making me shiver once it makes contact with my skin. my legs feel weak and i can't help but to squirm inside.
"here," he hands me the tube after finishing with the injuries on my back, "i don't think you'd want me to apply it on your face."

i head to the bathroom to look in the mirror. despite the light makeup i had on, i see my cheeks blushing red through the foundation and i feel embarrassed about how flustered jin makes me. i sigh and begin wiping off all my remaining makeup, then applying the cream onto my face and neck, heading out at least 10 minutes after. although jin's actions may have been too intimate for my liking, it was a lot easier when i had jin to apply it for me, i was such a wimp when it came to looking at my own scars.

jin was resting on the bed with a small plastic bag by his feet.
"took you long enough. i headed downstairs to the convenience store next door and bought some pain killers for you." he's so fast, how does jin keep continuing to surprise me?
"thanks, i-i don't know what to say."
"how about what would i do without you worldwide handsome? you're too caring, too generous to live in this cruel world." he exaggerated and i instinctively rolled my eyes as he returned to his usual boastful self.

so i may have made jisoo's pov a bit too long so obviously next chapter will be jin's side. i never intended to split jin and jisoo's pov into 2 chapters but oh well. hope you guys enjoyed! sorry it's a filler chapter tbh i have no idea what direction this ff is going.
