Currently on my fifth day here and yes, two more days before going back home but eh.. I want to stay for a little bit longer.
"Where are we now?" Daryl asked as the two of us were walking through the church, church enjoying the calming cold breeze. "Hmm? Uh.. Mont Saint
Michel." I said and held on a railing, climbing up with him still until we reached the top, the view was breathtaking and all, the history left in here was still remembered. The Hundred Years' War between France England. About Joan of Arc who was burnt at stake and sadly nobody was able to help her, right after she was given to the British forces.
"It's so beautiful here but..." I heard Daryl break the small silence we have as we are looking at the beautiful sight in front of us. I hummed in question waiting for him to continue. "But?" I said, closing my eyes and letting my tensed self relax for a bit.
"You're more beautiful." His compliment, as always, made my heart flutter and my cheeks red. I only nodded with a small smile. How I wish I could reply properly but I'll only end up being a stuttering mess, though... I could never get enough of his words.
*3rd Person's POV...*
Daryl, the whole time felt an aching sensation inside him, he chose to shut his mouth about it and stay quiet, no matter how much he wanted to tell her what hurts in him but he knew, if he ever saw that remorseful face of hers, he'll feel more pain than expected. All he knew was one thing.
"You know, I've got a great time with you." Isabel confessed giving a small genuine smile at him which made him smile faintly at her words, staring at the sparkling beautiful seas. He is most happy that he made her smile more than sh had back then, where she would just give a nod or a forced smile.
He thought that his everyday session of grinning at her like an idiot worked and infected her personality, despite having the little inconvenience about not being able to properly interact with each other.
'I already would have kidnapped you and made you my girlfriend if it wasn't for this. I already would have kissed you when you are mine. I will never let anybody touch you aside from I do. I will make you smile the way others can't and I'll be the one to love you.'
Were the words that danced in his mind, every time he sees her, it gave him a weird feeling, a feeling where he couldn't stop smiling once she is right there, ready to seek for the comfort he is to give right away.
"Oh, how I wish to make your smile more..." He murmurs, walking over her and taking a small halt as he was standing in front of her. He looked at his side and felt a sharp pain making him quietly hiss.
He made sure that his eyes are locked with hers as he started to fade away, like the dust itself. "I wish I could be with you.. Forever... And only you. Forever is not enough I wouldn't like that so..." She said and he looked at her gleaming beautiful chocolate orbs, admiring her beauty. He released a small smile, giving another weak smile at her. He was chuckling internally to himself about how much the moment and his feelings sounded like it was from a book.
He suddenly felt small droplets falling on the white shirt he wore. Isabel then gasped seeing his very glassy eyes and the warm salty tears cascading his cheeks.
It was her first time seeing him cry... It was full of sorrow. She walked closer and tried to wipe his tears away but it only left her a cold feeling upon predicted passing through. Though she didn't stopped, and only continued to try wipe it away, her cursing under her breath was edible as she continued on making his heart pricked with more thorns.
