A Romantic Date!

Caroline POV

Oh My God...there is so much to do. Klaus has asked me on a date. This is going to be our first date. And I have to make sure that I look hot, like Princess Monico HAWTTT..(I borrowed this from TVD). I need to find the perfect outfit, my curling iron needs to be ready and a hot bubble bath...to calm down my nerves. Yes. I am all set. NO NO...I am not calm at all. What if Klaus hates my dress!

He Is not even here right now. Klaus said he had to get in touch with his witch to talk about our protection spell. I hope everything goes well. Maybe being away from Klaus was causing me separation anxiety. Klaus had been right about it. Thank god I am staying here with him. I was occupied with these thoughts in mind when Rebecca walked in my room.

She was looking at all my scattered outfits and shoes lying on the bed and me with raised eyebrows. If she will continue being a bitch to me, then in that case I am gonna show what happens when one messes with Forbes. But she seemed in a different mood altogether today.

"What's with the fashion exhibition...going out with my brother or something?" she asked me casually.

"Yes. Klaus will be taking me out on a date this evening." I said in the same tone.

"Well looks like you need help." She stated as a matter of fact and started going through my stuff. I was about to ask her what this was all about when she suddenly threw a green dress at me.

"Try this..it will bring out your eyes more. And pair it up with your skin colored pumps." I could not stop myself. She was acting like we were really good friends. She called me a SLUT for god sakes...and now we are what? buddies?!?

"Rebecca...what is this? Why are you giving me advice? You don't even like me and called me harlot when we first met. Why the sudden change?" She kept staring at the wall behind me. Then all of a sudden sat on my bed with folded hands a clear sign of being defensive.

"Look here is the thing...I thought you were another one of those girls that my brother usually brings home for his fun. We did not get the chance to know each other well. And you seem to be nice...nice enough to make my brother happy. I haven't seen him smile in years. But you made him smile this morning. And you come saying you are his soul-mate. And you are also aware of the differences my brother shares with Elijah & me. So I believe that we can be civil to each other and can actually help one another." she shrugged with that and left my bedroom.

Umm..Rebecca is so weird. She appeared so stand-offish kind. And now she is hinting about an understanding between us. Haha...the Originals are termed correctly. They are definitely one of a kind.

Klaus POV

I have to make sure that everything is done according to my plans. My talk with the witches went well. Coming full moon which is next week the spell will be done for good. One thing completed.

Next I had compelled a few humans to arrange everything as per my choice for my date with Caroline.

I want this date to be memorable for my love. She has to know how cherished she is.
Everything is already set. Now all I have to do is pick Caroline from home.

Caroline POV

I was all set for my date with Klaus. I was looking at the mirror trying to see if I missed anything. And at that very moment the bell rang. I knew it who it was, so I picked up my purse and left my room.

When I went downstairs, Klaus was waiting for me at the door looking so handsome in black jeans, white henley and sleevless grey jacket. He was looking at me in the same way. We both seemed mesmerized with one another.

"Shall we go sweetheart?" Klaus asked me with a loving kiss on my forehead.

And all I could do was nod.

After 20 minutes of driving and talking about the procedure of the protection spell we arrived at a secluded beach.

We walked together for a few minutes. It felt  nice to hear the sound of water hitting the shore. I held Klaus's hand in mine. He was smiling.

"Baby..." I said breaking the silence.

"Yes love..." he said lovingly.

"I was thinking....when my powers will become active then everything will be so new for me. I know I will be clueless and out of control for a while. I would just want your constant presence. And if I loose my temper dont be angry with me." I said.

He suddenly stopped walking and held my shoulders with his hands.

"Caroline I will always be with you no matter what. I know it will take you some time to adapt with the 'new you'. And I will be by your side. Dont ever doubt that.
And I just love how you share all that you feel and think. You are my mate love. You never have to fear about me being angry with you. Even if I do get mad at you, believe me the only reason for that would be your safety."

And then he kissed me, wanting to lemme know what I meant to him. I kissed him back too. He is my hybrid angel.

He then pulled away from me. And it was then that I realized how I missed what Klaus had done for me. The sight before me was so romantic.

A gasp escaped from my mouth after what I saw.
