The Diary

Hermione had a secret diary that no one new about , she carried it everywhere with her , in fear that someone may find it and read it . This small tatty book held her deepest darkest secrets and everythig in between . No one had suspected a thing as she was normally seen with a book in her hand or even cradled against her chest as if they were her children, but all of that was about to change .

SEPTEMBER 9TH , HOGWARTS REDO FOR SEVENTH YEAR

Hermione strolled down the corridor casually , she carried atleast 5 books in her arms , as she was exiting the library when she ran into the head boy , the male she had to share a common room with and her head girl duties .

"Hey Hermione, what time do rounds start tonight " draco asked her , jogging to catch up.

" 1 they start at ten , ill remind you when its time to leave and 2 when did you start calling me Hermione , you normally call me granger or something , yes I know we made a pact and shit but still why?" She answered in one breath

" well I dont know fancied a change , why dont you like it ?" He asked stepping closer seductively

"Hmm..."she cleared her now clogged throat " well id prefer 'mione but if you call it me I don't care " she said just as seductively and traced an invisible shape on his chest

Now it was his turn to clear his clogged throat , when he teased her like that she normally just walked away with that adorable blush on her cheeks , he didnt expect this from her , he just got played at his own game , *theres hope for the mudblood yet *he thaught to himself

" oh ....well then , but for you I prefer the name mia , hows that ?" He asked stepping even closer , so that their bodies were touching .

They hadnt even noticed the small group of people gathering around them , consisting of Harry , Ginny , Ron , Pansy , Blaise , and Theodore , three Gryffindor and three slytherin , equally gobsmacked by the new turn of events .

" I like that , you know draco wouldn't you prefer i call you dray ? It suits you so much better , dont you think ?" She asked again tracing an invisible shape on his chest

" lovely mia , where on earth did you get such a nickname " he questioned pushing himself harder against her without realising

Soon enough hermione had her back against the wall and draco towering over her woth a twinkle in his eyes

" oh I dont know , just thought it up , you know how it is dont you dray ? You get bored any girl wouldnt be able to keep herself from thinking of the sexy slytherin prince or as some say slytherin sex god " she answered returning the twinkle in her own eyes

" I am just simply irresistable , who wouldnt think of me especially with my famous and completely true reputation " he replied cockily

she giggled to her self and grinned up at him , he had now pressed so hard against her that she had to release her books , including her diary

They fell with a bang , but neither of them moved to pick the disgarded objects up , they were too captivated in each other that they didnt even realise what had happened , let alone hear the gastly sound .

She stared at his eyes and he hers , taking in the emotions that flashed through the others eyes and scared to look away in case they would disappear , without even realising it draco began to lean in still staring directly at her eyes , she then too began to lean in , and just as their lips were but a milimetre away they were pulled back .

Ron had ruined their moment , he had pulled Draco off of hermione and was fuming with rage .

" when did you get here " draco asked confused

" when you first ran to granger" pansy replied calmly

" what the hell was that ?" Theo asked returning to reality from the shock that they were about to kiss

" just friendly banter , you know how we are now , and we were challenging each other who would go through with it , duh wasnt it obvious , you lot have definatly seen us challenge eachother to great lengths have you not ? ' hermione asked lying through her teeth . and sending a wink towards draco , which he immediately smirked at , this was not seen by the others , lucky for the pair

The rest of the group then all agreed and left it as it was , ron calmed down and walked back over to his best friend , harry .

" are you coming to the great hall for dinner or are you two going to keep chalenging each other "ginny asked finally

"Yeah sure , you coming dray ?" Hermione asked with a smirk gracing her lips

" yeah , okay why not mia " draco replied with an equal smirk on his lips

They all began walking to the great hall , hermione slipped away for just a second to retrieve her dropped books and draco followed without her knowledge .

She picked up all of the books except one , it was hidden in the shadows and only a corner was in view , draco then picked it up , hoping to use it as an excuse to talk to her when giving it back .

It was a brown tatty book with a small padlock on the side , keeping it locked away from the outside world , in the left corner there were tiny letters scrawled across it saying ' property of Hermione granger , diary please return to me if found , ' he laughed to himself gently , knowing full well that if anyone found it they would read it before returning it , he then took a seat and leant against the wall , unlocking the padlock to take a peak inside
