Dinner Time

They had stayed together in Draco's room all day and had skipped classes just to be together . It was now time for dinner and they were walking hand in hand through the corridors with a giant smile on their faces . 

They arrived at the great hall still smiling and  began to part ways to sit with their friends and prepare themselves for the speach that headmistress Mcgonogal was due to say  as per usual of every evening . 

" i'll see you later mia " Draco said ,hugging her tight . 

" i'll see you soon dray" she replied ,returning the hug . 

They parted ways and sat down with their friends to begin eating .

" well this has been a mad few years for our eighth years and to celebrate that we have a change in school rules as these people are the few and strong survivers of the second wizarding war . Everyone in their eighth year is now permittted to wear their normal clothes and express themselves as they wish , just as long as their clothing does not show any inapropriate flesh , which means cleavage , bums and even torsos for the males . That is all , enjoy the feast " 

And with that wild chatter exploded from the hall and the feast appeared . Hermione glanced towards the slytherin table and was glad to find that Draco was looking at her too . They eventually looked away to begin eating , though shared a few glances towards eachother every now and then . 

The feast finished and everyone exited the hall to go to their common rooms  , including the impossible pair , Hermione and Draco .

" Ah , Miss Granger , Mr Malfoy , may i speak to you both for a moment " Mcgonogal asked as they were about to leave . 

" yes headmistress " Hermione replied 

" follow me to my office please " Mcgonogal stated before turning on her heal and walking away . 

Draco and Hermione shared a puzzled look before following the professor quickly . 

They arrived at the gargoyle within minutes and Mcgonogal said the passord (licorice- always  keeping the memory of one Albus Dumbledore alive ) and they entered . 

"now , please take a seat" Mcgonogal said before she too took  a seat behind her desk . 

They quickly sat down , still nurvous as to why they were asked to go to her office with her . 

" Headmistress , may i ask as to why we are here ? " Hermione asked , her curiosity getting the better of her .  

" well thats simple , you two  are now recieving certificates for the strongest example set here at Hogwarts , and you two are the first to recieve these certificates in over 500 years " Mcgonogal answered 

" i dont understand , professor ,what do you mean by the strongest example " Draco asked confuesed 

"well, Mr . Malfoy , that's simple , it is your relationship with Miss Granger that is the example , you're showing house unity ,  although Miss Granger is supposed to be from slytherin which im sure you know of , but no body else knows that , and because of this and the fact that you have shown that your old beliefs are in fact old and behind you they are taking lead from this , which yes i am sure of as from the day you two showed you were together there have been atleast 5 more relationships between muggle-borns and slytherins , gryffindors and slytherins and even hufflepuffs and ravenclaws are in relationships with slytherins , and so your example has changed the whole school . " Mcgonogal replied . 

" wow " Hermione stated shocked by the turn of events . 

Draco looked over to Hermione and smiled smugly , knowing that they were the cause of all of the good now happening in their school . Hermione met his gaze and returned his smile , knowing full well what he was thinking . 

"yes  ,well that will be all , and thankyou for everything you have done for this school . "Mcgonogal stated , noticing their smiles  . 

"thank you professor " Draco said before taking Hermiones hand and leading her out 

They walked back to their common room hand in hand sweetly . 

" so what are you gonna be wearing tomorrow ?" Draco asked 

" just wait and see , its a surprise " Hermione stated as she thaught :*what am i going to wear ?* 

" oh come on mia , what ya wearing ?" he persisted 

" nope , you're just gonna have to wait " she replied smirking secretly   . 

"okay " he sighed , giving up 

"good " she replied before stopping in front of the portrait for their common room  .

" evening professor Snape , Dray ? .. whats the new password , i forgot ?" Hermione stated 

" House Unity " Draco replied reasuringly 

" thanx " she answered embaressed 

" you may enter , oh and by the way Miss Granger , i would like to apoligise for all of the insults i threw at you when i was your posions professor , i am sorry " Snape stated before the portrait swung open for them to enter 

" apoligy accepted sir , goodnight " Hermione replied before stepping in to the common room with Draco 

" goodnight Miss Granger " Snape said before he closed the portrait hole again .  

They walked over to the sofa and sat down , each releasing a large sigh as they were surprisingly tired from the day they had had , which was especially surprising as all they had done was lay in bed and eat and had only left the room to go for a walk or go to dinner . So for them to be tired was an extremly unpredictable scinareo for the both of them . 

" mia? .... it's getting late , do you wanna go to bed ?" Draco asked feeling even more tired as the minutes went by 

" yeah , okay , come on dray " she replied standing up and holding out her hand for him to take . 

He took it almost robotically and stood up to go to his room . They began walking and were almost at the stairs when they both passed out at the same time . 

Hermione laying on the floor ,cuddled up with Draco , both of them in a dreamless, deep sleep .
