We drove up to Cooperstown and I felt something wasn't right. A being appeared beside me and I had to assume it was Castiel, the angel. Dean slammed on the brakes.
“Woah, Cas, what the hell?” He asked, turning around in his seat.
“I'm telling you not to go in there,” Cas replied.
“Yeah and we aren't listening,” I retorted.
“It's a Satan trap,” Cas deadpanned.
“A what?” Sam asked.
“A Satan trap,”
“You mean like a Devil's trap?” I asked, suddenly confused.
“Yes, if that is what you call it,” Cas replied.
“How is it a Devil's trap? Those are used for holding demons,” I asked.
“The entire town is a giant Devil's trap. The borders are in a circle, and the building are arranged into the symbols in the trap. The entire thing is a giant Devil's trap,” Cas explained.
“Woah, Woah, Woah,” Dean slowed down a bit, “That's not possible.”
“No one died in that town, the town is infested with demons,” Cas replied, “Lucifer wanted to lure you to it so that you would break the trap, and let the demons out.”
I sat there taking in all the information, wondering how that was even possible. Dean finally broke the awkward silence.
“Why should we listen to you? You once told me that you were going to blow up an entire town, because of a stupid witch. Then you said your only instructions were to follow what I said. So now, why don't you follow what I say and go away," he snapped.
Castiel was silent. Then after a moment I felt his presence gone.
"Is he gone?" I ask.
"Yeah..." Sam mumbles.
"What if he's right? About the devil's trap?" I ask.
"We'll just have to find out for ourselves," Dean replies, getting out of the car. I get out and Sam follows. They inform me that we are just outside the borders of Cooperstown. I follow the Winchesters as they inspect the border.
"It does seem to be in the form of a circle. Maybe Cas was right," Dean says, gritting his teeth on the last part. I think about it for a moment before I ask, "Are we going in?"
"Of course we are," Dean said, excitedly, "I'm not going to listen to what Cas said! Plus we won't let any demons out, we're thorough." I laugh and we go and get back in the car. Dean pauses before continuing to drive. We slowly enter the small town. It is quiet, and I hear Sam mumble something about there being no one around. I wait and then Dean parks. He gets out and goes and gets a bag from the trunk. He hands Sam something and there turns to me.
"Aya, you better stay here. We are going to the police department, and you don't have a disguise," He assumes.
"Who do you think I am? I do actually have a disguise," I retorted, "FBI?"
Dean pauses and then replies, "Yeah." I pulled a suit out off my backpack and then took off my flannel shirt. I swear Dean was staring at me, but I had no way of knowing. I put on the blouse over my tank top, and then added the suit jacket. I took off my jeans and pulled on the suit pants. It took a grand total of fifty seconds to change. I heard Dean turn around and start getting changed and Sam does the same. As they do I search my bag for my wallet. When I find it I feel all the little cards, looking for my FBI badge. I hand it to Sam when I do.
"Who am I?" I asked.
"Sarah Jenner, FBI," Sam replied.
I nodded and took back the badge. I waited for them to finish getting ready and then we got out of the car.
"I'm going to pretend I can see," I stated, grabbing Sam's arm and tossing my white cane into the backseat of the car. I let go of his arm and took his hand.
"Are you sure?" Sam asked, warily.
"I've done it before. Just guide me to where I need to go," I explained. Sam didn't say anything, but he passed my hand over to Dean.
“Uh-” I started, but Dean cut me off by walking. I followed suit until we came upon the first building. I noticed that there was not a single soul around us. It was so quiet. Kind of like a ghost town. Sam opened the big door and Dean pulled me along. It was still quiet. The entire building seemed to be empty.
