Elliot had been getting involved since she found out about the relationship Ringo had with Elise. So not getting involved at this stage, was out of the question for Elliot. On her drive to Elise's apartment, she thought of turning back. She tried to convince herself not to do this. To stop. To let go everything go for a couple of weeks and go vacation somewhere, far, far away from everyone and everything.

The instinct that told her to run wasn't a match for the part of her that didn't want to let go. So the rational part of her lost. A Beatles song was playing on the radio, so Elliot shut the music down and pictured Ringo's face.

His blue eyes were so beautiful.

But he was a dick. He was sleeping with her taken sister.

Elliot stopped the car. She'd gotten caught in rush hour. She let out a frustrated sigh, and turned the radio on again.

"Aaahhh, boys. Well, I talk about boys, now. What a bundle of joy!" Ringo sang as the song came to an end. Commercials began to play as Elliot made a call.

She called her assistant Mell. "Hey Mell," she said, when there was a click. "Is George single?"

"Harrison?" Mell asked.

"Who else?"

Elliot heard clicking at the other end of the line. "He has a girlfriend."

"What about John? John hit on me at a New Year's Eve party last year."

"Honey, he hits on everyone," Mell said. Elliot rolled her eyes as the traffic in front of her began to move. "It's rumored he has a girlfriend. He hasn't confirmed or denied it."

"I got to go, Mell."

"What was the whole point of this conversation?"

"I think I was trying to find Elise another Beatle that wasn't Ringo," she admitted. She bit her bottom lip nervously.

Mell laughed. "Why? Want Ringo all to yourself?"

Elliot rolled her eyes at the thought and ended the call.

...

Elise was home, thankfully. Elliot waited for the elevator to come down. She tapped her foot. She'd been mentally making a speech of what she would say. She wasn't sure, but her words needed to make Elise realize what she was doing was wrong.

The elevator came down, and Elliot walked in. Once in front of Elise's door, she knocked. She waited, trying not to appear as though she were nervous.

"Hey," Elise opened the door. "I was just about to call you."

"Elise, I need you to reconsider."

Elise walked into the kitchen and her sister followed, closing the door after herself. "Do you want a drink first before you start arguing?"

"No, I'm fine," Elliot said. "Cam is going to propose!"

"I've already been through this with Brian. He spoke to me like I'm not a child. He put everything into perspective. This is what I want, Elliot."

Elliot gave her that point. She did sometimes treat her older sister like a child. Despite being older, Elliot was always the responsible one. She was the one that took care of the whole family, so Elise could model.

"You are absolutely right, you aren't a child, Elise. So why are you acting like one? You are going to break Cam's heart. Cam has been here for you since you were kids. He's your best friend! Is Ringo your best friend? Does he love you like Cam does? Or are you just caught up in the whole idea of loving him?" She was speaking so fast, she was running out of breath.

Elise was still listening, so she went on. "What do you think it'll be like to be married to him? He'll be gone touring for so long. Then he'll be in the studio and you'll be lonely."

Her sister chugged down her martini. "I didn't think about marrying him."

"If you can't picture a whole life with him, if you can't picture taking care of him when he's old and ugly, what are you doing?"

Elise began to cry. Elliot said nothing, letting out a sigh. She hugged her sister and hoped that her words were enough to convince her of backing out of her plan. She stayed until Elise stopped crying, and went back to the office.

Anxiously, Elliot worked, hoping her words had made Elise changed her mind.
