Writing this to get it out of the way as soon as I possibly can. So if I don't update anything else like my more popular fics, this is the reason. I'm hoping to have this finished very very soon, even if that means this is the only thing I write for an entire week.

"Fletcher Blake Payne you get down those stairs right now!"

"Why? You're just going to send me to my room anyway."Fletcher grumbles, dumping his backpack onto the floor as he turns to look at his Papa who is standing in a tire mother like way, with his hands on his hips and a stern expression on is face. It's obvious of how angry that he is and an angry Louis is not one that anyone wants to deal with.

Fletcher had skipped his last two periods and drove himself home from school, not wanting to face having yet another principles office meeting that he knew would be dreading. On the drive home, he'd managed to calm himself down enough that he wasn't still vibrating with anger, the downside was that the school had already phoned his parents on his absence and the documented fight in the hallway.

"That's not the point, Fletcher. We need to talk because you are in so much trouble right now, young man. And you're lucky that use gotten to you first before your father."It's obvious that he's mad, but his concern over the cuts and bruises on Fletchers face overtakes his anger. It's an all too familiar sight for Louis.

"Maybe he can finish the beating."Fletcher mumbles bitterly as he's being tugged towards the bathroom so that Louis can finish the tending to his wounds. Axel had done a pretty good job for only having a handful of tissues and a bottle of water to work with but Louis would feel better at taking a look at it, he doesn't want his baby getting an infection.

"Fletcher!"

"Papa!"The teenager is hissing in pain whenever Louis is dabbing the open wound on his eyebrow with an anti-bacteria wipe. Louis has a look of concentration on his face, the first aid kit pulled out of the bathroom medicine cupboard and needed supplies lying on the counter.

"What am I going to do with you, hmm? I love you but you cause more trouble than enough and you're making me go fucking grey."

"I'll buy you hairdye."

"Thanks,"Louis rolls his eyes in fondness as he works with cleaning the cuts on Fletchers face. He's an expect at having to clean his own cuts for years and at being a parent as well.

"You haven't screamed at me yet, should I be frightened?"Fletcher winces in pain as Louis cleans the drying blood on his tender nose. It's not broken, but it's busted enough that he's going to hurt and it's going to bruise.

"You should always be frightened,"Louis deadpans, his lips pursed into a dangerous straightline as he keeps cleaning."You're a fighter, but you're not a bully. And I know my son well enough to know that the only time that he fights-"

"Fletcher Blake Payne!"Liam's voice is cutting off Louis' kind words and it's only soon enough that Liam is appearing in the bathroom doorframe, a face of thunder on his face. Louis had been the one to pick up the phone call, Liam had taken it over. Louis is just glad he got to Fletcher first.

"Dad-"

"What have we talked about, hmm? To stop this fighting nonsense! You're better than this, Fletcher. You don't need to fight to prove your point or to make yourself feel like the better person for getting involved in a fight in the first place. I am sick and tired of you coming home with cuts and bruises because you're too knuckled headed stubborn to let something go."
