Before Love and Life, there was nothing.
All was Elberon, and he was alone.

Then, a fire was kindled within the Father,
That which burned within Him split in two.
The flames danced together and the Father sang.
Elberon was grieved, his song was incomplete.

The melody was meant to be a duet.
The fire burning brighter, Elberon formed a body
From the aether, a vessel for his heart's flame.
The First Inspiration, the First Work of Art,
Madaera, the Beloved of Elberon.

With celestial light did her eyes shine.
Her locks of hair, a swirling peaceful darkness.
Madaera's voice did sing across the ages,
And Her soul burned ever brighter before Elberon.

Their song perfect and complete, the Mother and Father danced the Waltz of Love.
In the passion of their union, Life began.
Thus were the Firstborn quickened.
The Children of the Mother's Soul,
The sparkling raiment of Her Veil.

In time, the Secondborn were to follow
The Children of the Mother's Body,
Humankind, those that walk the Earth.

And all was good, in that Age of Paradise.
