Chapter 1

Jessica pov
It was Monday morning in Lynn and my stupid alarm went off so I turned it off and went to go in the shower then after that I got ready for school I went downstairs and saw my bff Jason the he said "are u ready for school?" then I said "yea im ready to go get bullied some more" *note the sarcasm* then he said "I know it sucks but things will get better" I said "yea but im a junior in highschool and this has been going on for what 6 years" he said "yea but you never know" I said "yea and I know what's gonna happen but lets just get to school" then he said "yea lets go" we got to school and then Jason went to his locker and then I was pushed up against mine by guess who Brian fucking Garcia and his group then he said "hey slut" I said "what did I ever do to you" Brian said "oh you know what you did and im gonna get payback" then I saw that everyone in the hallway was looking at me and Brian even Kyle who was in Brian's group I have had a crush on him since 5th grade and he was just laughing at me with the other guys in Brian's group then Jason came and said "hey back off man" and he said "whatever" and let me go and they walked away but Kyle looked back at me and smiled like in a kind way he is so confusing like one minute he is laughing at me and the next he smiles at me in a kind way ugh highschool is so confusing then Jason said "I leave for 5 minutes and your already getting bullied" then I said "you know how they are" he said "yes I guess" then the bell rang me and Jason had all of the same classes together so first it was algebra me and Jason also sit next to eachother in every class so we took our seats and Jason kept on poking me and I started to laugh and Mr. Mcdorman said "Jessica keep it down other people are trying to work" I said "sorry" then I looked at Jason giggled and he did too then Mr. Mcdorman passed out our worksheets and I already knew this so I was done quickly and I saw Jason struggling so I helped him and he was so confused I was giggling so much and he said "its not funny" in a 5 year old voice and I said "yes it is" then I got a note and it was from Kyle he is also in all of my classes and it said "hey can you meet me in the gym right afterschool" and I wrote "yea sure?" then I passed it to him and he smiled that was weird Jason said "what was weird" I said "oh I said that out loud" and he was like "yes now spill" I said "Kyle wants me to meet him in the gym afterschool today" Jason said "Jessica its just a trap don't fall for it" I said "but what if its not remember when you said 'you never know'" he said "dang it I did say that" I said "yes so can you come with me when I go but like hide somewhere" he said "yea sure I don't have anything to do when I get home so sure then" I said "thank you bff" he said "no problem bff" we both giggled then the bell rang and it was time for bio when we got to bio Ms. Holy said "so today we have a project and it will be in groups of three" she said "of my choice" I hope I don't have to be with Kyle she said "Jessica you will be with Jason" and then she said "and you guys will be partnered up with Kyle" and he smiled really wide that was weird but I love his smile then Ms. Holy said the rest of the partners and then she said "and the project is gonna be on genes" I said really why this why me ughhhh then she said "you will have to figure out what features the child would have and what the parents would have to look like" then I said kill me now then Jason said "its gonna be ok ill be there with you" I felt a little calmer then she said "and it will be due Friday of next week" then Kyle came over to us and he said "hi my name is ky-" I said "yes Kyle Stewart I know" he said "yea" then Jason was giving him dirty look and I laughed and Kyle said "I love your laugh" I said "thanks?" He said "oh I said that out loud" Jason said "yea ya did" then Kyle scratched the back of his neck and said "so whose house should we work at" I said "I guess we can work at mine" and Kyle said "yea im cool with that" Jason said "yea your couch is really comfy and its like no matter how much food I eat there is always more!" I laughed and said "yup that's my house for ya" then the bell rang now it was time for lunch I was walking to my table when I felt a cold liquid going down my shirt I turned around and saw Kyle standing there with a carton of chocolate milk in his hand and then I saw Brian taking a picture and Kyle smiled at me but not in a kind way I just ran to the bathroom and took out my blade 1 for not being good enough to not get bullied 2 for Kyle being a jerk to me 3 for living through all of this 4 for thinking that I would ever have a chance with Kyle 5 for Kyle being a jerk and me still having a crush on him 6 for ever liking Kyle then I cleaned up all of the blood and took out 6 more bracelets from my bag and put them on my cuts and then I put on my extra shirt that I had in my backpack cuz you know you never know when bullying gets messy then I put the other shirt in a plastic bag and put it in my backpack and then the bell rang and I walked to history then I felt a hand on my shoulder and it was Kyle.
