Chapter 15

Jessica's POV

As soon as the school day ends I get a text from Chris

Chris: hey, um do you wanna chill today somewhere? I kind of wanna take you somewhere and I swear I'm not trying to kidnap you or anything lol

Jessica: yeah I'd love to I just have to do something before

Chris: what do you have to do? 

Chris: if you don't mind me asking

Jessica: well I just moved here an my mom wants me to pick out a car after school today 

Jessica: if you want to you can come 

Chris: if you're mom and whoever else is going is cool with it yeah I'd love to

Jessica: my friends will most likely be cool with it but I'll ask my mom just to make sure

So then I text my mom

Jessica: hey mom when we go to pick out a car can my new friend Chris come too?

Ma: yea, of course!

Ma: I'm glad you're making more friends

Jessica: me too :D

Now I text Chris

Jessica: my mom said you can

Chris: sweet :D

Jessica: so meet me at the front door so I can walk you to my moms car 

Chris: kk

I was already at the front door with Emily and Nick. I swear it took him less than 10 minutes to get here. I see my moms car so we head to her car. The reason why she has a car already is because she told me that she had been planning on moving here for a while so she already had a car ready for her to get when we got here. She even got it delivered to the house. I am just really grateful of everything she has done for me and for me to have a better life. Living in Lynn was not at all a good environment to live in. If I stayed any longer I probably would have ended up dead or at the very least severely injured. In all possible ways to be severely injured. 

As soon as we get out of the car I see the car that I've wanted for years. Which is a red Range Rover Velar. Before I even say anything my mom says that we want the car I was talking about. When she says that I ask her "mom how did you know I wanted that car?" she says "I remember how much you used to talk about getting this car and so now you're going to get it" "but it's so expensive" "don't worry about the price honey" "thank you so much mom" I go up and hug her. After what feels like a million signatures later the guy gives me the keys. 

I ask my mom "can me and Chris go hang out?" she says "yeah just be safe you guys" I say "of course, love you mom" "love you too hun" "text me to let me know you guys got home safe" "I will" and then me and Chris get into the car and my mom, Emily, and Nick get into my moms car.

Nick gives me directions and now we are on our way to the place he was talking about and as we pull up I see that it's a cute little park. 

We sit down on a the swings and start to swing. I say "I bet I can swing higher than you" he says "I know you just moved here but I have the current record for highest swinger" "you're joking, right?" and I start to giggle and he says "nope I made the record in third grade and nobody has broke it since" I say "then this will be a sweet victory for me" "we'll see" and then he gives me the most attractive smirk ever. I swear it gave me the illest butterflies. As we start to swing he notices me going higher and I can tell he's getting nervous and then after we get a little bit higher he gives up and after we stop swinging he says "oh my god you beat my record" I say "I warned you" he playfully bows to me and I say "as you should peasant" and we both laugh. Then I say "wanna go to my house and watch a movie?" he says "yeah, what movie though?" we both say at the same time "endgame" and we both laugh and he says "you are so perfect it's insane" I blush and say "thank you, it means more than you know" then we get into the car and go to my house.

 We pull into the garage and then enter the house and he says "wow, this house is really cool" I say "yeah it has two master bedrooms both with master bathrooms with master closets, 2 guest bedrooms and both of them have bathrooms, there is one bathroom on each floor, there's a gym, there's a movie theater, there's a game room, there's a kitchen, there's a dining room, and there's an awesome swimming pool in the back" "that's so dope" "I know right I'll show you to the movie theater"

When we get into the theater I start making popcorn and ask him if he wants ice cream and he says yeah so I go to the kitchen portion of the movie theater in the back and grab some a tub of ice cream and two spoons. I walk back to where I was sitting and open the tub. He got a spoonful and told me to open my mouth and he fed me and we both laughed. Then I put a little bit of the ice cream on my finger and put it on his nose and giggle. He tries to lick it off and I laugh harder. At this point we aren't even watching the movie we are just messing around and I'm having a lot of fun to be completely honest. I don't think I have had this much fun in years. I definitely didn't have anywhere close to this much fun back in Lynn. 

Right now we are at the point in the movie where the Hulk is trying to use Iron Man's version of the infinity gauntlet and is failing. I'm laying my head on his shoulder and he has his head on top of mine and we are holding hands. 

He squeezes my hand so  I look up at him and he's already looking at me and he's smiling. Him doing this gives me butterflies. He looks from my eyes to my lips and back to my eyes in less than half of a second and I see him start to lean in and so I do too. When our lips touch I swear that fireworks go off in the background. His lips are so fucking soft. I could honestly do this all day. But then we pull apart and look into each others eyes again and I notice that he starts to blush. I can feel that I am too. We both giggle and look at the screen and its at the part where Scarlet Witch is in God mode against Thanos.  We both sit back and continue to watch the movie.

We are finally at the part where Iron Man dies and Spiderman tells Iron Man that they won. Me being the emotional geek that I am starts to cry and I look over at Chris and I see that he's starting to cry. It was completely adorable. I don't think I have ever seen someone so attractive. Not even Kyle fucking Stewart. He says "I swear Peter Parker is my weakness" I say "oh my god same" then we both giggle. 

Just then my mom pops in and says "hey it's dinner time, Chris do you want to join us?" he says "I wouldn't want to intrude" she says "you wouldn't hun, I insist" then he says "ok then, I would love to" she leaves and shortly after we do.

Once we get to the dining room I smell it. My mom makes the best mashed potatoes and beef stew. So me being the fat ass I am I bolt to the food and grab a shit ton of food. She made mashed potatoes, beef stew, and corn. The best combination ever. I can hear Chris giggle and I say "no Chris you don't get it her beef stew and mashed potatoes are to die for" he says "that's crazy because I love beef stew and mashed potatoes but I don't know if these mashed potatoes will beat my grandmothers mashed potatoes but we shall see" I say "mhm yes we will".

After we get our food we sit down. I start literally shoving my face with the food. Out of the corner I see Chris taking his first bite of the mashed potatoes and I see the realization hitting him like a freight train and I can't help but laugh. With a mouth full of food I say "told you so bro" he says "you def did" then my mom says "so Chris whose mashed potatoes are better?" with a mouthful of food he says "I plead the fifth" and we all almost choke because we are laughing so hard. I mean I did say my moms mashed potatoes are to die for. 

After dinner my mom had got called into work and had to leave. So Chris and I go to the game room and play gta5 online.  We finished the casino heist. Yup that's right. We finished it in one day. I don't mean to brag but I am pretty much a master at gta. I've been playing gta5 since it came out. Yes, I am very proud. Very proud.

I notice its starting to get late and I say "hey, its getting late do you want me to drive you home now?" he said "if I go will you be ok by yourself?" I say "yea, we have a security system so I'll be ok, thanks for the concern though" he says "it's no problem" and then we head out.

After I get home I decide to watch some Spongebob in the living room. After around half an hour the doorbell rings. It can't be my mom because she obviously has a key. I grab my self defense key chain that my mom got for me on the first day that we got here and head to the door. I slowly open the door and my heart sinks.
