Mahou Shoujo Alice Chapter 5

A mysterious creature who looked like half an half angel was floating above my bed, his name was Ace. I had sat up in my bed as the strap of my shirt fell down my arm, I pulled it back in a rush. the silence had been on going for sometime now as this man thought of how to answer my random questions. "my dear, that mark on your arm is a symbol of the chosen" he tries to explain "the chosen? chosen for what?" I ask frowning, I guess I had become used to the supernatural by now. "you have been chosen to participate in a game of life, you have no choice but to fight creatures of the damned in what we call an abyss. this abyss is another dimension..." he explains thinking hard "this will be all the information I will give you, for now I bid you adieu" the man starts to disappear as I climb on my bed in a rush in attempt to reach him "wait! I do not understand!" as my fingers curl round what seemed like his garment he vanished from my grip leaving me sitting on my bed which was a mess. the gentle breeze blows through the open window leading to the small balcony that laid beyond those glass doors which shone like a diamond in the full moonlight. "how very mad I have become, this must all be a dream..." I say as I lie back in my bed and turn over. I think about going to see Renu...would that be a good idea? I shake my head and smile, it was only a dream I repeat as I fall asleep.

I seemed to have woken up to the sunlight glaring into my face, it felt hot but nice at the same time. I sat up in my bed and looked around, thank goodness it was the same as it had ever been. last night must have been a dream. I step onto the warm soft carpet beneath my feet and I walk towards the wardrobe, I suddenly smell pancakes. was that Renu cooking breakfast? I grab my dressing gown and walk to the kitchen only to see Renu cooking pancakes while singing to the music the radio was playing. The band 30 Seconds To Mars was playing. I smile and lean against the door not aware that I still had the mark on my arm. "someone is cheerful this morning" I say. Renu turns around and smiles "well hello young lady, what can I get for you?" he asks jokingly, he then sets the frying pan down and spins me around. I blush and giggle a little then hug him "pancakes~" I sang as he smiled and put a plate full at the table "help yourself to as many as you want" he ruffles my hair. It was then that this happy scene started to fade away...

Stuck in a corridor with paintings all over the wall, it looked like a gallery of my memories. was this place a nightmare? was it deceiving my eyes? or me? I turned around as I heard a chuckle in my ear "who is there!" I shout scared, I held my arm noticing that the mark was still there. It was however glowing. I start to run again but trip down a dark flight of stairs. "o-ow...." I manage to mumble as I pick myself up from the ground. I hear a noise of scuttering feet behind me as I spin around. the scene had changed...Ii was now in a large dark field of nothingness, dark water surrounded my feet. every where I looked I could see broken bits of dolls houses, like a scene from Alice in Wonderland as she fell through the hole? this however brought a vibe of misfortune and death. I walked around aimlessly desperatly trying to look for a way out. I hear the noise again only this time I see a huge voodo doll with a sewn up mouth and pins coming from its face behind me, it reaches out to grab me. Only then as I shut my eyes I hear someone shouting and a huge bang...I get thrown at the wall. When I open my eyes, to my suprise I see a man with chocolate brown hair and beautiful blue eyes standing there holding what looked like some sort of electric sword with a high voltage, his wings disappear as he turns to me and offers his hand. "Are you ok?" his soft voice brings me back to senses as I blush a little and take his hand allowing him to pull me up "I-I am fine, thank you..for saving..me" I mumble as I look down. the man smiles gently and sees the mark on my arm "the angel of luck hey" he pats my head gently as if I were a baby "I have the mark of the angel of thunder, nice to meet you my name is Leon"
