Signe was abruptly yanked from sleep when she heard her phone alerted her that she was receiving multiple text messages. Even though she had only been asleep for roughly thirty minutes, she felt like she had travelled in time to the next day. She blearily rubbed her eyes with the heels of her hands before checking to see who was trying to get a hold of her, wincing at the brightness of her phone screen. She was equally surprised and happy to see that it was Sean calling her.

"Hey Signe! You wanna go get lunch?" Sean asked excitedly. She hadn't realized how hungry she was until her stomach grumbles loudly. She had a small breakfast and it was currently one in the afternoon.

"Definitely! Where at?" Signe couldn't hold back a smile at his energy.

"There's this restaurant called Rövhålet." Sean snickered.

"What's so funny about it?" Signe frowned in confusion.

"Rövhålet is Swedish for The Butthole." Sean explained, beginning to laugh harder.

Signe couldn't help but laugh too at the ridiculous name.

"Is thirty minutes enough time to get ready?" Sean asked.

"Yeah, see you then!" Signe said before hanging up.

She changed into a baggy black jumper and skinny blue jeans with a pair of black boots before fixing her hair, reapplying makeup, and walking out the door with money to pay for food and a taxi.

The restaurant was kind of like a diner. It was small and didn't serve a large variety of food like other restaurants. Mainly, they sold an assortment of delicious looking and smelling sandwiches and pie.

Signe easily spotted Sean sitting at a booth in the back, his attention fixated on his phone he held in his hands.

"Oh hey!" Sean's expression brightened when he looked up and noticed Signe walking over.

"Where's Robin?" Signe asked as she sat down in the seat across from him, picking up a menu and examine the contents.

"He's out cold. Besides, he already ate earlier before going to meet me at the train station." Sean explained.

"You two ready to order?" A waitress asked them.

"I'll have a bacon cheeseburger and a Mountain Dew." Sean decided as he hands the waitress his menu.

"I'll have the same thing." Signe decided since it sounded good. As soon as she gave the waitress her menu, she walked to tell the chefs their order.

"You know, I've been thinking..." Sean trailed off in contemplation.

"Well that's kinda dangerous." Signe remarked teasingly.

"Were you at a Starbucks in Denmark earlier today?" Sean blurted.

"Yeah." Signe responded uncertainly. She wasn't sure why he was asking.

"You're that girl that handed me my wallet when I dropped it!" He exclaimed in realization.

"Yeah." Signe repeated dumbly, unsure of what else to say.

"Did you see the colors?" Signe asked hopefully.

"What?" Sean frowned in confusion.

"When I handed you your wallet, our hands briefly touched and for the first time I saw the world in a different way. Everything looked bright and beautiful for that moment!" Signe spoke in a rush due to her excitement.

Sean hesitantly offered her his hand, which she tightly held in hers as the vibrant colors returned. His hair was a bright neon green and his eyes were a light sapphire blue that shone with curiosity as he watched her. He had a short well kept brown goatee and was dressed in a red-orange long sleeve shirt, jeans, as well as black and white tennis shoes.

Even with the new assortment of colors around her, his eyes were her favorite color by far.

"It's beautiful." Signe gasped in awe as she took in everything around her.

Sean didn't react as he looked around as well, his expression quickly shifting from curiosity to disappointment and sadness.

"What's wrong?" Signe asked him with a small frown.

"I don't see anything." Sean admitted guiltily as if he had committed a crime.

"What?" Signe breathed, unable to think of what else to say. How could he be her soulmate, but she wasn't his?

It's not fair!, Signe screamed internally as tears welled up in her eyes.

"I have to go." She whispered, her voice cracking as she hastily jogged out of the restaurant and back to the hotel, not even bothering to pay for a cab even though it had begun to rain.

Oh good, the weather matches my mood, Signe thought bitterly as she shoved her hands deep into her pockets and walked slightly slower to her room.

She lazily flicked on the tv and found Walking Dead, watching that until she cried herself to sleep with the tv still on.
