Chapter 12: S.H.E.M.

Kazuki's POV

Rogue has been missing for 1 week. Everybody on the basketball team and the coach has been looking for him. It was Saturday and Atsushi, Kumiko, Nori, Ryuu, and I were going to go to Saber Tail High to see if they have seen him. We got on the train and it took a couple of hours till we finally made it to Saber Tail. When we went to the dorms all of Rogue's friends were outside discussing about what they were going to do.

"Hi," I say.

"Hi Kazuki. Is Rogue with you guys too?" Sting asks.

3rd POV

"No. I was wondering if you've seen Rogue at all for the past week." Kazuki says.

"We haven't seen Rogue since he left to meet up with you guys at the train station." Lucy says.

"That makes this situation much worse." Atsushi says.

"Why what's going on?" Erza asks.

"Rogue's been missing for 1 week. He didn't come to the train station so we went ahead of him guessing he was going to take the last train of the night instead, but he never came back." Ryuu explains.

"Do you guys have any clues of where he could be?" Lucy asks.

"Sorry Lucy, but we all looked and found nothing." Kumiko says.

"So we have no clues what so ever about where he could have been taken. I mean what if he was kidnapped or he is just injured or he is perfectly fine." Natsu says.

"I don't think so." A male with black hair and red eyes says.

"Who are you?" Laxus asks.

"My name is Tadashi Yamamoto. I'm Rogue's long lost older brother. I took a break from my job so I could help you guys look for him. Rogue and I met on accident when he was a kid. His other siblings weren't with him. Rogue and I were close, but we both wanted to keep the fact that I was alive a secret. I also think I know who took Rogue." Tadashi says.

"Who took Rogue than?" Everyone asks.

"An organization called S.H.E.M." Tadashi says.

"What does it stand for?" Mirajane asks.

"It stands for Secret Human Experimental Magic." Nori says.

Everyone looks at Nori in surprise.

Nori says, "I've read about it before, in very and I mean very confidential files. I just didn't think they were real. I only have heard of the name and that they are a secret company. I don't know what they do at the company."

"I know what they do." Tadashi says.

Everyone looks at Tadashi.

Tadashi sighs and says, "Do you guys really want to know what they do? Because I know they are probably doing this to Rogue right now."

Lucy stares at Tadashi firmly and says, "Tell us."

"I've been to S.H.E.M. before, but not as a visitor, not as a worker, but as a subject. I was taken from my parents when I was a baby. My parents had believed I was dead. From the very day I was born I have been an experiment for them. They changed everything, blood cells, the human body, and much more. It's a painful process to go through and I hoped that no one would have to go through that. I escaped the cruel place when I was a kid and that's how I met Rogue. The company came after me and Rogue. Than I stopped them for I had figured out that they had finally finished experimenting on me. Now all they needed to do was put me through more pain in order to control my mind and body. What they do is they experiment on you till they figure out how to make a monster out of you. They gave me what they call magic. They name my magic, Elemental Slayer. I can use different types from all the elements to demon slaying, dragon slaying, god slaying, and many more. I was their biggest success. All they needed to do was control me, but I luckily got away. They couldn't create anyone who was as powerful as me for they would die from the intense magic energy. Most of my friends called this magic a curse, but I used it as a gift. I used my powers to stop the company, but I didn't know there were more since I was young. I still use my powers till this day to help people who need protecting. S.H.E.M. are going to experiment on Rogue till they can do the same thing they did to me, but this time they are going to control him." Tadashi explains.

"Do you know where they are?!" Gajeel asks.

"They have 10 more buildings in the whole world. We are lucky they are all in the country. We should split up and look to find him." Tadashi says.

"We should get into groups of twos then," Erza says.

Kazuki nods, "Kumiko and I, Nori and Ryuu, Rufus and Minerva, Laxus and Mirajane, Gray and Juvia, Natsu and Lissanna, Erza and Jellal, Gajeel and Levy, Sting and Yukino, and Lucy and Atsushi and Tadashi."

"Okay everyone take out you phones I will give you the address to the buildings. They do not show on the map so don't be fooled by your phone instead use your eyes to find it. They're pretty hidden as well so." Tadashi says.

Everyones nods and Tadashi gives them the addresses. 

"One more thing, I want to give certain people my powers." Tadashi says.

Everyone looks at him with a confused face. Tadashi walks up to Kazuki and gives Kazuki Purgatory Dragon Slayer, Natsu Fire dragon slayer, Gajeel Iron dragon slayer, Laxus lightning dragon slayer, Gray Ice Demon Slayer, Nori Water God Slayer, Sting Holy Dragon Slayer, Minerva Darkness God Slayer, Erza Armor Slayer Magic, and Rufus the power to talk telepathically to everyone.

"The magic power will disappear if I was to die or if time runs out. You guys have magic for 3 weeks so we have 3 weeks to find Rogue. Rufus connect everyone to you so if anyone finds Rogue we all can rush there as fast as we can." Tadashi says.

Everyone nods and goes their separate ways.
