Chapter 14: Rescue Plan Part 2

Hey guys sorry, I've been busy with school and I've been lazy as well so. 

With Rufus and Minerva

3rd POV

"Do you think we'll have to fight anyone here?" Rufus asks.

"Probably, I mean if we don't fight anyone then these people must be pretty stupid not to notice people in their building." Minerva says as they reach their destination.

"I have a bad feeling about this plan, about the rescue plan. What about you?" Rufus asks.

"I feel like this plan of saving Rogue is not going to end how we all want it." Minerva says. "We're here."

"Well this isn't really a secret building, just a building far away from society." Rufus say. "How should we get in?"

"Through the front door." Minerva says as she walks to the front door.

Rufus just sighs. Minerva opens the front door to see the person at the counter asleep on the job. The 1st floor was silent and no one was out in the halls. Everyone was in a meeting. Minerva finds a room with lockers in it, but the door was locked.

"Let me," Rufus says as he picks the lock.

Once the door was unlocked they went in and closed the door. Minerva headed towards a locker and broke a lock on a locker. She then opened the locker to see a uniform in it.

"Put the uniforms on and we'll blend in with the others," Minerva tells Rufus.

Rufus nods and opens a different locker. They both quickly change without looking at each other. Once finished they headed out the locker room. 

"Split up," Minerva says.

"Okay, stay in contact with me through talking in your mind okay." Rufus says.

Minerva nods as the two go their separate ways. Minerva looks through all of the 1st floor and found that everyone was busy with their own things. They were either in meetings or doing an assigned project. Rufus was looking at the 2nd floor and found nothing as well. Eventually they both finished looking around. Minerva got back to the first floor and left through the front door like she wasn't doing anything to begin with. Once Rufus got to the 1st floor the counter man was awake.

"Who are you?" He asks.

"I'm Dr. Ken." Rufus says as he remember the name that was printed on the locker he has opened.

"Oh, well sorry Dr. Ken for disturbing you. How is it going with the immortality project?" He says.

"Right it's going okay, I'm still having trouble with perfecting it. I can turn someone immortal but only for a certain amount of time, so I'm still trying to figure out how to make it permanent." Rufus replies as he remembers going through the real Dr. Ken's stuff.

"Okay then, have a good day sir."  He says.

Rufus just heads towards the door but is stopped by, "By the way, did you get a hair cut Dr. Ken?"

Rufus turns around and says, "No, I didn't."

The guys at the counter just stares as Rufus leaves through the front door. He goes back to the city to where he and Minerva agreed to meet at. They had bought a hotel room for 1 day and 1 night. He went inside the room to see Minerva on the couch watching tv.

"Took you a while," Minerva says.

"Yeah got caught up looking at some stuff." Rufus says.

Rufus grabs his bag and heads into the bathroom and takes a quick 5 minute shower.
