Adrian groaned, sitting up from the couch. She had fallen asleep, and had been awakened by the annoying sound of her alarm clock filling the air. She jumped up as she saw the time, grabbing the uniform that was given to her the day before and running into the bathroom to get changed.
She grabbed her phone and her key's, darting outside of the door and locking it behind her. Adrian quickly made her way to the coffee shop, her lips twitching up into a small smile every so often.
Reminding herself to get a skateboard when she had enough money, she pushed the door open and walked into the shop. Adrian checked the time- thankfully enough, she wasn't late.
"Gah! I- uhm. H-Hi Adrian!" Tweek greeted Adrian as she walked behind the counter, the female running a hand through her hair quickly before washing her hands. Tweek's hands shook and twitched profusely as he sorted through the money that they had gathered for the day, not wanting anything to be off.
After all, his parents owned the place- If her were to mess something up he would be in more trouble than a regular employee would be. And plus- he had been in school all day. Tweek twitched as he waved goodbye, grabbing his backpack and walking into the back of the store and up to his room.
Adrian hummed softly as she served the people that came to the small coffee shop- the day sweeping by on a breeze. "Have a nice day!" She cheerily said, waving goodbye at a costumer that had been walking out of the coffee shop with a cup in hand.
Adrian had tried the coffee before- and though she couldn't stand the taste she understood why people always came back to the store for more, and of why Tweek always twitched. She couldn't do anything about the Tweak family lacing their coffee with cocain- especially since she was simply just a sixteen year old girl. This place was likely going to be the only place that would hire her.
She let out a loud yawn, stretching lightly as she stared out of the coffee shop and into the dim litted parking lot. Adrian looked at her watch. '9:00' Her shift was about to be over.
After saying goodnight to her bosses and checking out, Adrian made her way out into the night.
Adrian looked around cautiously, jumping as a loud 'bang' was heard. Her head snapped around to see what caused it. Adrian sighed in relief when she seen that it was a cat that had knocked over a trash can lid.
She quickly finished her walk, shutting her door behind her and huffing loudly while running a hand through her hair. Sure, she was being paranoid- but she was used to having to be careful of waking her parents when walking through her house. After all, they weren't exactly the best parents in the world. Adrian flopped down onto her bed, checking her phone for any text messages before dozing off.
------------------------------
Adrian fell off her bed with a loud thump, her alarm clock blaring out in alarm. The teen groaned, groggily looking up from the ground. Her hair was unkempt, her baggy shirt dragging down a bit to reveal a shoulder. Adrian fought the urge to smash the device as she pressed the button to turn it off, yawning and stretching soon after.
The teen grabbed a outfit from her closet- a shirt, a pair of jeans, and a baggy blue sweater as well as her beanie. Pulling them on, she walked into the other room and quickly ate breakfast before leaving the house with a huff.
------------------------------------
Adrian shrunk into her sweater, tensing a bit as she walked into the building she was to call her school. She glanced around uncomfortable, immediately noticing that each person had their own group. The "preppy" females, the druggies, the emo's, and the jocks. The teen huffed, knowing that she would have to choose a group if she were to ever want to make friends.
"Move out of the way, new kid!" Adrian glanced up from the table she was sitting at to look at the group of kids she had classified as "druggies" earlier. She internally rolled her eyes, frowning at the pudgy kid and his group of delinquents in front of her. "What? There's other seats" Adrian's statement just seemed to piss the pudgy kid off.
"That's my seat, jackass" Cartman snarled at Adrian, his face contorting to one of rage. Adrian simply scoffed. "Yeah well I'm sure you'd take up more than just this seat; so go find another seat, bucko" She retorted, earning a snort and a few chuckles from the group behind the pudgy kid.
Cartman crossed his arms, glaring at the new kid who seemed to match his own gaze. "Just take a seat, fatass" Kenny mumbled from under his parka, his eyes narrowing in thought. Cartman huffed loudly before walking over and taking a seat a ways away from Adrian. "So are you new here?" Adrian nodded, replying with a quick 'mhm'.
"What's your name?"
"Adrian"
"Isn't that a guy's name?" Kenny questioned, raising an eyebrow as he finally butted into the conversation.
Adrian shrugged lightly. "My parents wanted a boy" She crossed her arms as the boy's around her started snickering.
