Sam has agreed to help out. The training starts today, in the clearing Laurent changed me at. I get dressed when Jasper leaves the room. I brush my hair before putting my sneakers on. I flash downstairs, and see everyone else waiting for me.
"Don't just sit there, let's go." I snap and I flash to the clearing.
Being the first one here, I have a seat on a rock. The rest of coven that I belong to arrive, and Edward just smiles. He knows I have his speed, so I beat them here. Edward had stayed behind, he drove and picked up Bella, of course. The trouble maker.
I glare at Bella. "If it weren't for you, we wouldn't be in this mess."
"You was my friend...." Bella says with a frown.
"You was going to let Laurent kill you; you knew he has been intrigued by me since that day we first met them. He willingly killed and changed me, in exchange to leaving you alone." I say. "If I wasn't there, you'd be dead. What was that, you telling him about the guys being gone? That made him more eager to kill you! I dreamt it before it happened, I know what you said, Bella." I sniff the air and gnarl my nose. "The dogs are here."
"They don't trust us enough." Edward days, reading Sam's mind. "Jasper, tell them what you know. Jasper has the experience in newborns."
Emmett sits beside me on the rock.
"Athena, we will have you on the field, we will feed you human blood for a week, confuse them." Carlisle says. "You're a newborn too."
I smile. "That is smar......" I am interrupted by a vision.
A man is going after Leah Clearwater, vut he sees me, a newborn with red eyes and not apart of them. He hisses and charges at me. Jacob jumps in the way and gets broken, his ribs.
I gasp and I look Jacob with worry. "If I do, someone gets hurt."
"Yeah, but it keeps Bella alive." Edward points out.
"I'm more worried about the would than the human, she's the reason we are all here." I yell.
They all look at me in utter shock. "I'll be at home, I need to start on the human blood."
I flash home before anyone could protest. I grab a blood bag from the supply closet in the kitchen, and I slurp it down. I close my eyes as the warm, gooey substance glides down my throat. Taking away any temptation there is in there.
Jasper is standing in front of me when I open my eyes. I smile and I climb the stairs. Jacob sighs, he is worried about me. Carlisle is too, I can tell by his face. I find my room and I sit on the bed. I think of the battle a week away. I can think of one specific wolf.
Jacob Black.
