I stand in the clearing a week later, ready for this. I stand in front of Jacobs wolf, and he rubs against me. Okay my head on his, knowing he gets hurt, protecting me.
"We have each other's back, Jacob." I whisper. "A wolf and a vampire, a weird team, but one hell of a good one."
He barks and I just giggle. I send them behind the rocks when I see Victoria nearing, well her newborns. She and Riley are going on the cliff, where Edward, Bella, and Seth are.
I fight with a black newborn, who was distracted by my red eyes. I rip his head off with my bare hands and drop a match on him. I see a wolf going at Leah Clearwater, he notices my red eyes and that I am not on Victoria's army.
He dodges at me, and Jacob jumps in the way. The vampire breaks Jacobs ribs before I can get a hold of him. I scream in fury before I rip his head and arms off. I land on my feet and I smirk at my job.
"I need a match." I tell whoever is listening.
"Nice job." Jasper compliments.
I grab the match as I watch the arms and head lay, off the body. I light the flame, and I look at the pack carrying Jacob. Jacob nods at me to visit. I drop the match on the dead man and I flash after the pack, wanting to be sure Jacob is okay.
"Nice kill, Athena." Sam says.
I look at Jacobs door and I hear his painful screams. "I wish I would have gotten him sooner, or Jacob wouldn't be hurt."
"He was saving you too, Athena." Jared says. "You killed the vampire before it could kill Jacob."
"Maybe a wolf and a vampire Can work together." Sam admits. "Y'all two kicked ass."
"Athena. Jacob is asking for you." Carlisle says.
Bella gasps in shock that he didn't want to see her. I roll my eyes before I smile and go inside. Billy shows Jacob's room. Jacob is drenched in sweat when I enter his room.
"Damn dog, you look horrible." I joke.
Jacob cracks a small smile. "Very funny, Athena. He could have killed me. But, you got him before he did."
"I told you, I have your back I'd you have mine." I gently pat his tanned stomach.
"Relax with me tonight." Jacob offers. "Carlisle says it's okay."
