Chapter 6

So it is the day before prom. Alisha and I still don't have a date. I know Ashton is planing to do something big. I know Luke would never ask me. We all walk into the hall where our lockers are. I saw this pink envelope on Alisha's locker.
"Hey looks like Alisha got mail," Michael smirked.
"Open it," Anna started slapping her arm so she would do it.
"Ok, ok." She removed the envelope from her locker and opened it. Her eyes lit up and she had a little smile growing on her face.
"Hey guys I will see you later," and with that she left heading towards the school garden.
"I bet Ashton will ask her out there," Negin smiled.
"Lets go watch. We can take the other way and get there faster and watch her walk in," I looked at all of their faces as they had an evil smile on their face. We all headed towards the garden so we can watch it all happen. We all ran to the other entrance to the garden and what do you know Alisha hasn't even entered yet.
"Hey guys. Where is Ashton?" Michael asked.
"Maybe we should go inside," Negin suggested as we entered. I noticed not Ashton, but Brittany.
"What is she doing?" Michael asked.
"Shhh," Negin told him.
"Ok so when Alisha walks in we spray her down," Brittany commanded as all of her friends got ready. Brittany was holding a hose and I could tell she was ready to fire.
"Someone run to the other entrance and make Alisha not go inside," I panicked. "You know what. I will do it." I didn't even let them reply. I ran towards the way we came in and ran to the other doorway. I couldn't let this happen to Alisha.
"Kylie what are you doing running in the halls," I heard one of my teachers yell.
"Sorry I am trying to save my friend. She is going to get hosed down by someone and I can't let that happen," I tried running away.
"I will take care of the girls trying to do it. Go stop your friend," the teacher ran up to me and I pointed to her the entrance. I saw Alisha standing there about to open it or was she hesitating
"Alisha stop," I yelled. She turned in shock.
"Let me walk in first," the teacher began.
"No don't you will be...." I couldn't stop her on time. The teacher was hosed. I heard Alisha gasp.
"How did you know?" Alisha's voice was shaky. At least Brittany and all of her friends got caught and was heading towards the principle's office.
"We thought maybe we could watch Ashton ask you to the dance," I felt bad yet thankful we did that.
"Thanks," Alisha looked at me. I don't know why but I expected her to be mad that we were gonna stalk her. She left without saying a word.
"So a teacher got hosed instead of Alisha," Negin stated.
"Yup. The real funny thing was that Alisha was standing there. Like before she was going to open it she was standing there, but smiling like crazy.
"Maybe she was nervous and was planning something," Anna said.
"I can't get over her face when she saw what happened to the teacher," I began.
"Was it funny?" Negin laughed.
"No it was more of disappointment. Wow she really does like Ashton," I shrugged. We all started to head towards first period where I saw Alisha and Ashton standing there. He had his hand on her cheek. Yessss she is smiling her crazy smile again.
"Awww," we all said, but none of them faced us. It was like they were in their own world. I felt Anna nudge me. She pointed me towards Michael and Negin. They were holding hands and left us like we weren't there. Anna and I looked at each other. I looked back at Alisha. She was just kissed Ashton. I looked over at.... WAIT SHE KISSED ASHTON. LIKE LIP TO LIP.
"ANNA, ALISHA KISSED ASHTON," I whispered yelled.
"WHAT?!?" She whispered yelled too. Well wow. Aren't they moving fast?
P.O.V. of Anna
Oh how I wish Calum was here. I wish he came and held me like they did in movies and smiled at me with his perfect smile. Omg Anna snap out of this. But I can't. This is my first crush. My first and only crush. In movies I have never understood how you could like someone soo much. Until Calum. Ughh all of this liking stuff is getting to me. I felt someone kiss my cheek. I turned to see Calum. OMG CALUM KISSED MY CHEEK. I heard Kylie gasp behind me. I was now staring at Calum. He had the best eyes in the world. Anyone can stare into. He placed his arms around my waist. Omg I would never be able to forget this little tall kid.
P.O.V. of Kylie
Why am I a loner? Why won't Luke just ask me out? For some reason I felt like crying. Why? Over a guy who doesn't like you? What about when we work on the project together and we have those moments when we just stare at each other. I ran. I felt a tear rush on my face. I cleaned it off right away. I don't want anyone to see me cry. This is stupid.
"Oh hey Kylie," Luke greeted. He looked at me and his eyes widen. "What happened?"
"Nothing," I replied looking away. I don't want him staring at me. He lifted up my face so that my eyes were right in front of his. I felt his face coming closer and closer to mine. I could feel is breath on my face and his hands slipping around my waist. Without even realizing it my arms snaked their way around his neck. Everything was perfect. Our lips were less than a centimeter away. Then BAM!
