A Spaniel puppy thought to be no more than one year old was found dumped and nearly frozen to death behind a 6ft fence in a field near Snodland Road in Birling, West Malling.
The puppy, who was found dumped over the fence into an enclosed gateway area that accesses a dog walking field, was left in such appalling conditions that her own poo was found frozen next to her when she was discovered by a passing off-duty police officer who was walking his own dog.
