I think it has some great quotes on it.

Sure, people value their own lives above poor animals, and INSIST on using new medical techniques on the defenseless creatures, but if they know the treatment is dangerous enough to cause death or pain, why would you bother with it?

New medical treatments are tested on animals first, then humans, to make sure it's not dangerous. But if you know it could be dangerous, why do it? Medical treatments are supposed to HELP animals and humans, not cause more pain to them.

A lone dog lay curled in the corner of his cell, wondering what he did to deserve this. Every day of the past seven years of his life, a human wearing a white coat would come in and take him away to perform painful experiments on him. It wasn't fair, he thought.

Then he lifted his head as the wire door clanged open. He drew his lips back in a snarl. The White-Coat was here. It took a step back. It was holding a long lead. On the end of this lead was another dog, a young puppy, with big paws and a floppy tongue. It wagged it's tail as it saw him.

He watched as the White-Coat leaned down and unclipped the lead from the pup's brown collar. Then it pushed the young dog inside and closed the door, which rattled was the metal bars creating the cage banged together.

Then the White-Coat walked away.

The older dog snuffed and lay his head back on his paws. The little one bounded up to him, but he ignored it.

~~~
There were footsteps. The older dog looked up to see a human staring into his cage. But it wasn't a White-Coat. It wore blue and black, and had a long pole in it's hands, with a loop at the end. It opened the door and stepped in the cage. The puppy leaped to it's paws and wagged it's tail so hard it's whole behind wagged with it. The older dog stood up slowly and growled, showing all his yellow teeth.
But the human didn't back away like the White-Coats did. It petted the puppy on the head as it bounded over, and hooked a lead to the pup's collar. The young one wouldn't be grinning for much longer, the older dog thought grimly. They were taking it away for testing. Maybe that was why they brought it in here. To replace him.
The human handed the lead to another human, who had appeared beside it, and then advanced to get the older dog. He shrank back and tucked in his tail, snarling even louder. Without hesitation, the human hooked the loop on the end of the pole around the dog's neck.
He fought and snapped at the pole, but the human dragged him out and forced him into a large crate. It closed the door and then bent down. But instead of looking at him with a blank face, it smiled at him sadly. The dog looked back. It was smiling at him.
This is the story of two dogs, who were rescued from a lab where animals were tested. One had been tested his whole life, and the other had never been subject to the terrible pain of testing.
The puppy was a pleased as ever to see people, and the older one didn't trust anyone whatsoever. However, after some kind handling and care, the older one soon learned to trust people enough to get adopted.
