Adventure 17 - Better Off Broken And Midnight Films

America fit right in, in America. She got along amazingly with Michael, which is quite the challenge. Amelia and Calum are still the best of buds, almost never out of each other's sight; And the same applies with Michael and America. Ashton and Luke love hanging out with the rest of the herd, but they mostly just sneak off by themselves and do cuddly couple shit (Calum believes they're fucking.).

Ever since Amelia stumbled into their daily lives, Michael and Calum have been slowly drifting. They are still a lovely couple and are deeply affectionate, but it's fading. Michael seems to be holding up most of the relationship, but even he is loosing strength.

Everyone in the house can see that 'Malum' is lacking. Calum and Michael are less than peachy around each other. It's not that their fighting, just that things are beginning to change, and its put a toll on the two.

Amelia and America have clung to Michael and Calum like super glue. The females never leave the boy's sides. America is an almost duplicate of Michael, being a lazy ass that plays video games all day. She dies her hair aswell, but not as excessively as the colorful-haired lad. Calum and Amelia could look like total opposites if you looked at them side by side, but you couldn't be anymore wrong. The girl and the lad have nearly everything in common and are nearly the same person in different genders.

Luke and Ashton have had become some sorts of ambassadors for gays, being brave enough to come out in such a anti-gay career choice. Little kids to full grown adults have been talking or tweeting them everywhere, telling them how they have changed their outlook on coming out.

But, this isn't about Ashton and Luke being homosexual ministers. Shine the spotlight on Calum Hood and Michael Clifford, please!

"Cal?" Michael called, searching for the lad in the empty home. Luke, Ashton, America, and Amelia all went out for some pizza. Michael salivated at the thought of pizza, but chose to stay with his boyfriend and hang with him.

"Mikey, i'm in the studio!" Calum yelled, his voice bouncing around the vacant halls. The bassist enjoyed sitting in the studio, sometimes not even doing anything, just lounging around in silence.

In entered Michael, with a bare expression. Calum knew exactly why the guitarist wanted to see him. Calum placed down his bass and turned to his boyfriend. Michael sat down indian style infront of the lad, and fiddled with the younger boy's fingers. The moments anticipating when Michael spoke were driving Calum insane. He knew what was coming for him, but his heart still felt like it was beating out of his chest.

"I, erm.. have something to tell you." Michael mumbled.

"Me too. I-I think we should... uh-"

"Break up. I know. It's okay, It just wasn't going to work." Calum was shocked. All those years, and it still surprised the lad that Michael could almost always take the words out of his mouth. Calum nodded, and spread a small smile. He leaned over and hugged Michael tightly, nudging his face deep into his neck. This may be the last time that he'll have an excuse to hug the boy like this again, so may as well make the most of the embrace.

"Thank you, mikey. I'm glad you understand. This was just too much for the band and just ugh." Calum softly giggled, elated to have that off his chest. "And you know, I still love you, no matter what. Okay?"

The colorful-haired boy nodded. "I'll always love you too, cal. Wanna play some Xbox?" MIchael enticed. The two shot up from the couch in the studio and raced down to another couch down in the living room. Calum instantly got back up and went for some chips. Returning from the kitchen, Calum saw that the game was all set up and Michael was sitting patiently with the controller for him. He hopped onto the couch and placed the chips on the coffee table. Yanking the remote from mikey, Calum right away began pressing buttons.
