Adventure 18 - Sunshine

Now that Michael and Calum were no longer together, the band felt... Clearer. The air around them seemed less dense, and the aussie's could finally breathe. Calum and Michael aren't holding any grudges or past-relationship pain, it's just as though it never happened. Luke and Ashton could almost guarantee that the two boys still have some feelings left, they were sure of it. The couple couldn't decied on who that might be, but the lads knew there was an unstirred, kindling love still burning.

Ashton and Luke as a couple couldn't be stronger. Both their families completely, 100% approve of the two. Liz during a facetime, had commented to Ashton that this had been Luke's dream. And with that, Luke abruptly ended the call. One advantage to their relationship, was that their friends and families already knew the other bandmember, so awkward boyfriend introductions were not needed.

America and Amelia are now thoroughly involved in the 4 boy's lives. The ladies don't seem to go anywhere without one of the Australians hanging around them. America had left a few days ago. Even if she was in their presense for a week's time, the oddly-named brit made a mammoth impact in all of their lives.

Calum has gotten back out into the dating scene, and with a person none of the other 5SOS lads expected; Amelia. Sure, Ashton and Luke had noticed the way the 2 had acted around each other, but had never guessed they would expirence dating the other. It seemed a tad uncomfortable for Amelia when she came to pick up Calum, seeing as the boy she was originally asked to cover up his connection with Calum. But, nonetheless, Michael held no grudge agaiinst the blonde and let her have a pleasant time with cal.

We haven't really shone any light on Luke and Ashton in a while, so... Let it shine!

"Ashy-bear?" Luke turned to his partner, who was cuddled up against his side. Ashton would cuddle Lucas with any chance he got. Not just because he was his boyfriend (that was a factor), but because the younger lad was a walking heater.

"Hmm?' Ashton looked up to the lad, whose bright blue eyes glistened down at him.

"Let's go out. Enjoy the sun!" Luke said and motioned to the outdoors. The Los Angeles sunlight beat down on the hills. Ashton loved the tepid California weather, it was less harsh than the brutal Sydney solar rays he had grown up with. The drummer definitely wanted a change in their lazy schedule. The curly-haired lad and the blonde have been sitting inside for the past few days, just being sluggish asses.

"Sure, babe." Ashton lightly pecked his boyfriend's lips and slowly got up from his seat, preventing the blood from rushing to his head. He laughed loudly when he saw his seat; His butt left a deep imprint on the sofa. The boys slipped on their shoes, grabbed their necessary pocket items, and walked out of their home.

Instantly, the Californian sun began bashing down on the aussie's. Not that it bothered them much, they were accustomed to much worse. Ashton discretely grabbed the younger lad's hand, interlacing their fingers together. Luke blushed lightly at the gesture.

Ashton and the little things he did with or to Lucas always seemed to make him bashful, no matter how long the older boy had been doing it. The same process happens each time; Ashton does something really dainty and adorable, Luke blushes, and stares down at the ground with a goofy grin present on his face.

"See, isn't this much nicer?" Luke poked.

"Quiet, Hemmings." This time it was Ashton who was blushing, so in return he lightly pushed the blue-eyed boy. The lads just appeared like 2 bestfriends strolling down the road, not so much a couple of a semi-famous punk/pop band.
