Chapter 2

~Six years after being reunited with her family~

~Isabella's Pov~

Five years ago on this day I lost my brother. It was terrible. I told him not to go but he assured me that he would come back. He told me he would be careful and that he wouldn't go missing. Well now he is. I remember the last day before he left for his trip with dad. Also now Thea is always going to parties and I know that she is doing drugs. I tell her to stop but she won't listen. One day when I forced her not to go to a party she yelled at me saying that I will never be her sister and I can never help her fill the void of not only losing her dad but her brother as well. Moira goes and marries Walter and I'm all alone.

I would always go out to the back where Oliver's grave is and talk to it. And I told it everything. From crushes to boyfriends to what is going on with Thea and I. I also spend time working out to keep my mind off of his death and what has been going on with the family. I would also work part time at the Starling City Police Department. I guess you can say I'm Quentin's favorite Queen child because not only do I stay out of trouble but I helped Laurel when she found out that Oliver and Sara died. Quentin would give me things to do at the SCPD like paperwork to forensic science work and sometimes I get to ride in the squad car with him to go to the crime scene so I get to see police work in the action.

As I work on this case the news was on, then my brothers picture comes up on the screen and as I turn up the sound, the news reporter says that he has been found. A look of shock comes over my face. I can't believe that he is alive. I run to Quentin and told him about Oliver being alive and if I can go home early so that I can be there when he arrives home, he says that I can go. As I come home I run into the man himself walking down the steps. I run up to him and jumped into his open arms. "Oh my god you're here." I said while I give him the biggest hug I can give. "I have missed you too Mimi." Oliver says as he hugs me back. Thea came out and saw us hugging. I let him go and he turned around to see her. "Ollie!!!!" She ran down the steps and hugged him. "Hey Speedy." He laughed as he hugs her. We start to walk inside and to see Walter and mom. "Hey Walter." I said as I go to hug him but stop because mom doesn't want to tell Oliver that she married Walter, yet. " So Ollie what do you want to do?" I say to him. "Um I want to get a shower." He says with a smile on his face. I laughed at him. I go to my room to get ready for dinner.

As we are eating Tommy tries to catch Oliver on what he had missed the last 5 years. " Okay, let's see. What else did you miss? Super bowl winners: Colts. Giants. Steelers. Saints. Packers. Black President, that's new. Oh and "Lost". Turns out that they were all dead. I think..." I laugh at him because he didn't understand the ending of it. "What was it like?" Thea asked out of the blue. We all stop and look at her shocked by her bluntness. "Cold." Oliver said.

"Tomorrow, you and me, we're doing the city. You got a lot of catching up to do." Tommy says breaking the tension in the room. Then Mom says "That sounds like a wonderful idea." Oliver says something that shocked us all. "Good. Then I was hoping to go into the office." Oliver replies to the idea. "There's plenty of time for all of that. I'm sure your doctors would prefer you take some time. Queen Consolidated isn't going anywhere." Walter says to Oliver wanting for him to take things slow.

At that time Raisa comes into the room with some fruit in a bowl, but then she trips and almost dropped the fruit however Oliver was able to catch them. "I am so sorry, Mr. Oliver..."she says in a rush. "Ni dlya kogo ne volnuites, Raise." A look of shock comes over all of our faces at the fact that Oliver just spoke Russian. "Dude, you...speak Russian?" Tommy said. "I didn't realize that you took Russian in college, Oliver." Walter says with surprise. "I didn't realize you wanted to sleep with my mother, Walter." Oliver said back with a little venom in his voice. Then mom looked at me and Thea with a very questioning look on her face.
