Does anyone know or remember that book series by lemony Snicket, the series of unfortunate events? Well back in the day like middle school or elementary school those were like my favorite stories. They were witty and adventures and funny. I declared that my favorite book series of all time. I'm 20 now so whenever someone asks who my favorite author is I say him. No one compares to my childhood favorite. So imagine my surprise when Netflix does an original series on those very books. I was super excited to watch it and I was planning on sitting in my dorm binge watching the whole series in one day with my gf. And you know what the show sucked. It was boring and monotone and dull, it was a huge disappointment. I fell asleep on the second episode. It was like a disgrace to my favorite series of all time. Now all I want to do is go to a public library and read the series from book one to remind myself how amazing they were and not let Netflix permanently ruin my favorite book series.
