Lexi's POV:

"Come on Lexi!" Casper whined.

"Why a club Casper?" I groaned.

"Hey I asked you what you wanted to do and you said, 'Oh, I don't care Casper! You're the wisest and most greatest gu-' "

"I didn't say that." I sighed and held back a small smile.

It's been 2 months since I met Casper. At first I was my cold self around him but he convinced me that since we had to work with each other, then we'd have to communicate without killing each other. So, I lightened up a little to him. Sometimes, he can even make me smile.

"Come on! Get ready were leaving in like 2 hours!" Casper told me as he headed to the front door.

"I'll be back to pick you up in about an hour and a half so be ready!" He called as the door shut behind him.

I quickly took a shower and picked out a nice black dress that hugged my curves gently. Tonight was the night...it was the night I was going to meet Jack Harries.

You see, when I first met Casper, he asked me about my assignment and gave me all the information he had that could help me. Apparently, he already knew Jack and we were going out to meet him and some other people.

My disguise? A friend of Casper's from high school. All the other information was the same as Z had given me.

I checked myself in the mirror. My natural wavy hair satisfied my look as I added a touch of makeup.

I heard Casper ring my doorbell and hurried down. I grabbed a clutch on the way out and slipped on my flats. I swung open the door to a quite handsome looking Casper.

"Hey." I greeted.

He pretended to be hurt and placed a hand over his heart. "What? No compliment on my sexiness?! What is this Lexi?! I thought we had something special!"

I smiled and rolled my eyes at him.

We walked to his car and buckled up.

"On a serious note Lex, I know that you don't like talking to people that you don't know and all but knowing Jack, he's crazy and weird. If you're going to get closer to Jack, then you can't be all tense and serious. Let loose and have some fun" Casper told me while looking into my eyes.

I looked down ashamed. He was right. I couldn't be New Lexi. I had to be Old Lexi. The fun and kind one.

I bit my lip and I nodded at Casper. Then we took off for the club.

!¡!¡!¡!¡!¡!¡!¡!¡!¡!¡!¡!¡!¡!¡!¡!¡!¡!¡!¡!¡!¡!¡!¡!¡!¡!

Loud music blasted through my ears as Casper and I entered the club. We wormed our way through the large group of sweaty dancing people.

Eww don't touch me peasant! Oh my gosh take a shower! You reek of alcohol, not cool! OH MY GOSH YOU'RE SLIMY LIKE NO! NO! And Casper asks me why I don't like going to clubs often...

In no time, I found myself standing in front of a table of Casper's friends, and boy was I relieved! I analyzed every single one of them. But only one caught my eye, Jack Harries, and his look alike that sat next to him.

One of the guys with blonde hair whistled. "Casper, you didn't tell us your friend was hot!"

I stared at him, almost glaring, earning a secret nudge from Casper, reminding me to let loose. I forced a smile attempting to hide my glare. "Thanks."

"The name's Marcus. This is Zoe, Alfie, Joe, Tanya, Jim, Jack and Finn." He said pointing to each of them. When Marcus motioned to Finn, he smiled at me. Casper's words rung in my head: "Don't be so tense and serious" I smiled back which made him wink. His wink made me feel weird...almost like a frog jumped in my stomach.

What the heck? Pull yourself together Lexi!

The rest of the nightconsisted of lots of dancing, talking and drinking. I did my best to get as much information as possible about Jack. I actually got enough info for me to complete a plan for the mission.

This mission might be easier than I thought.

When the drinks came out, my conversation with the Harries twins pretty much ended. They became drunk to the point where, I didn't understand a word they were saying. I didn't drink much though, but I watched as Casper downed drink after drink. The worst part, he was my ride home.

I searched around for any of Casper's friends that might be the slightest bit sober.

Forget it, I could just walk home, I don't live far.

I groaned as I approached Casper who seemed to be hooking up with some girl. I tapped on his shoulder.

"Casper I'm going to head home." I told him.

He just nodded and turned back to his new girl, making me roll my eyes.

The cool air welcomed me as I stepped outside into the night and began my journey home. I shivered slightly as the wind blew. I made it about 2 blocks before I felt someone grab at my wrist.

I turned around to find 5 large guys who were now surrounding me.

"What's a pretty lady like you doing here at night, all by herself?" One asked.

I glared at him. "Leaving." I stated as I tried to push past the guys. No such luck. Here we go.

"Come on, a pretty girl like you should come stay with us." Another guy said, reaching for my arm.

I shoved it away. "Don't f*cking touch me." I hissed at him.

"Come on babe." Another said and lunged for me. I had enough of this crap. I swung my fist at the guy lunging at me. A loud crack echoed throughout the street as my fist collided with his cheek.

He stumbled back holding his now bruised face. "What the h*ll?! This b*tch is gonna get it!"

That's when everything went down hill. Sure I could fight people off, but 5v1 isn't the fairest game.

I threw punches and kicks at them but it wasn't enough. I felt a punch to the gut, causing me to double over. I took quite a few blows to the head as well. On top of that, I was pinned to a wall and then SNAP!

I let out a yelp as I felt my right arm be snapped in half. I heard someone call my name in the distance. The guy who broke my arm dropped me as I slumped to the ground. I heard the 5 guys take off.

My head pounded and the world was spinning. My arm felt like it had just been stabbed at every inch of it's existence. My head was also bleeding, I could feel the blood drip down onto the ground and soak into my dress.

"Lexi?! Oh my gosh! Lexi!" I heard a familiar voice say. A figure loomed over me but I couldn't tell who it was.

"Is she conscious?" Another familiar voice asked.

"Sh*t," One mumbled.

"Stay with me Lexi. Hello? Yes. My friend was attacked. Yes. Yes we're on Baker Street, 2 blocks east from the bar. Ok thank you."

I tried to focus on the people around me but it hurt my head more.

"Lexi? Come on say something."

That's all I heard until I let the darkness consume me.
