The show flew by and Ren had kept me calm the entire time. Theo and I hung out for all of intermission and I convinced Heather and Richard(Theo's guardian) to let us eat candy to get us hyped up.
Theo was randomly thrown in as Nate in the second act due to the fact that our OG Nate threw a fit and quit the show. Otherwise the second act went well. We finished the finale and got ready for bows. I ran off stage left and met Heather with Ren as the adult ensemble bowed. Next was the children ensemble. I held Ren in my arms as I got ready to run on stage. I put him down and it was my turn he came out with me. As I bowed I say the entire Hamilton cast, Percy, Annabeth, and Hugh. People awed at Ren I mean how couldn't they. Theo came out and bowed and we hugged. I almost forgot it was my birthday until Theo started talking to the audience. "Hey everyone as you know I was not Nate in the first act but I am now! I would like to ask Tim my new guardian/ writer to come out and help me lead a song. Most of you don't know but it's this girls birthday. Happy birthday boo. So let's sing. 1 , 2, 3"
They sang happy birthday and I thanked them. Theo and I hugged again and Ren and I went back to my dressing room to get out of my costume. Heather took my mic out of my left braid and braided it again. I put on a strapless white dress and went back down to get my family. Yeah, they are my family. Lin, Jon, Percy, Annabeth, and Hugh all came to my dressing room with me. Theo ended up coming too. I shoved all of the notes and gifts into my backpack and into a tote bag that Lin had on him. We put the stuff in his car and walked to Friday's for the after party. I mean it wasn't extravagant but we hung out until two in the morning. I went home and fell asleep right away.
Ren woke me up by jumping on my face. I looked at my phone and it was 10:14 I went to the kitchen poured myself coffee and saw a note on the fridge. Abby- I'm on the roof with Annabeth. Bring the stuff you got for opening and we will give you your birthday gifts from us - Percy
I walked up to the roof backpack on and coffee in hand. I looked and saw that every blanket was taken but good thing I had a sweatshirt on. I stepped out into the roof and saw a little patio like think with couches set up like a living room. It was kind of inclosed too so that you could use it in the winter.
