"CARTAH!" I yell at Carter.
"Why?!?"
"He was saying things." Carter whispers
"Well there's no need to punch him! you know I still love him!"
"You wouldn't after you heard what he said" Carter whispers again.
"Tell me."
"No"
"Tell me now." I say getting tears in my eyes. why is my life so stressful!?
"He said, he said that your basically worthless. Your only good for your looks." Carter says very quietly. I pause. Tears flood now. I feel broken. Worthless.
"But," Carter starts, putting his hand on my thigh.
"Your not. Your perfect. Aidan, you are really perfect. I love you."
"Really?" you say trying to wipe away the tears.
"Aidan, I've always loved you. Since the day I met you! your really perfect. To me, your everything. I promise I'll take care of you, and love you."
He then wipes my tears away from my eyes and leans in and kisses me. Oh the butterflies!
We drive home, with "battle scars" on the radio.
