::Chapter 2:: At Angel's House

Angel POV

Baby, do you dare to do this? 'Cause I'm coming at ya like a dark horse. Are you ready for, ready for?

"A perfect storm, perfect storm!" I sang. "Come on, sing with me Jesse."

Hey I'm Angel. I'm Black, African, and French. I've got light brown eyes from my dad. And I'm way more light skin then my cousin Albey.

While waiting for Albey to get here I was downstairs on my iPad listening to "Dark Horse".

Jesse is my little brother. I have two younger brothers. Jesse is three years old but a lot more smart than you think he is and a whole lot dramatic. But I'm pretty sure it's because he listens to my phone calls. And then there's Melvin. I can't even explain that boy. All you should know is....pray for him.

"There's no going back." OooOooOoooOoo Do Do Do Do." He sang. "Antel. I want--I want, umm, juice."

"Kay come on."

DING DONG

"WAHHAH AHA WAHH BWHAHHH!!" Jesse started running around the room.

"Freak show."  I said rolling my eyes.

I went and unlocked the door but didn't unlock the chain.

"Who is it?" I said sarcastically even though I already knew who it was.

"Bitch, open the door I got pizza."

Yup. It was Albaney.

"PISZA?!?!" Jesse yelled. "OPEN TADOR ANTEL OPEN IT DER'S TALKING PISZA!!"

"WHA WHA WHA? SOMEONE SAY PIZZA?!?" said a voice from upstairs.

And that..... was Melvin. -_- Figures.

I unlocked the chain and let Albaney and Nathan in.

"Extra cheese right?" She asked while carrying three boxes of Papa John's in.

"Bring it on." I replied.

20 MINUTES LATER

When we finished our pizza Albaney and I went upstairs to my room and sat on the bed.

"Okay Angel. Flatter me with your lame boyfriend stories."

"Shut up. They're not lame just.....different." I said defending myself.

"LAME."

"Okay fine, but it's not like you and JAVION are going anywhere."

"I. Will. Slit. Your. Throat."

I smiled.

Javion was some guy that she used to like right after she broke up with her ex. But then her ex came back and hurt her, so she gave up on boys.

"Okay now tell me about....Daniel Perez?" she said.

I threw a pillow at her.

"OW!"

"It's a pillow calm down you baby."

"Well excuse me for being sensitive."

"You know I don't like Daniel anymore."

"So? I can't have some fun? Mwahahaha."

I grabbed another pillow. "Hey, I'm armed."

"Okay okay. So who do you like now?"

"This guy named Nicholas."

"Oooooo Nicholas." she said.

I threw the pillow at her.

"Really?!? Geez! I need to take these away from you!"

Albaney POV

Angel told me about how she and Nicholas dated on Monday but then he broke up with her on Wednesday because they don't "talk". She told me more about him and I started to like him already.

"For real though. Nicholas is cute and EVERYTHING." she said.

"Hmmm.....do you have his number?"

"Yea why?"

"I want it." I said.

"What the what."

"Give me the damn number."

"Fine bitch."

She went over to her phone and looked at her contacts.

"281-" I cut her off.

"Wait wait wait." I went to my bag and grabbed my phone.

"Okay go." I said.

She told me the number and I dialed it.

RING RING

"Hello?" a boy on the other line answered. I could already tell he was cute. He had a nice dark and smooth voice. But I've already been treated badly, and I don't feel trusting another jerk of a boy.

"Hello??" he asked again.

I didn't really know what to say.....dammit.

"....hello?" Angel said in a REALLY quiet voice. Like, geez girl if your gonna talk, talk loud.

"Yea who's this?"

............awkward..

I finally built up my confidence.

"Okay. Okay. HI."

"Who's this?"

"You don't know me. I'm Albaney, Angels cousin."

"Umm...okay."

"So....why'd you break up with Angel?"

"What. You can't just ask a person why they broke up with someone, [Starts talking fast] like we weren't talking. We acted like we were just friends, what's the point of being in a relationship when...."

He went on like this and boy did he sound cute. He made some jokes along the line and I laughed so much I sounded like a hyena.  I kept asking questions and he made me laugh. Best. Phone call. EVER. Okay. So maybe I can give this guy a chance. Just MAYBE. Eventually on the phone I got his number and his Kik.

When he hung up me and Angel just sat in the silence then all of a sudden bursted out laughing.
