Together Once Again

Chapter 5

"Her name was.." Jimin began and then there was a knock at my door.

I sighed and got up opening the door. "Oh hello Mrs. Park." I said and opened the door stepping back a little.

She nodded at me and smiled. She looked over at Jimin.
"We are going to eat dinner with them. Us adults will be outside I'd just thought I'd let you know honey." She said softly and then blew a kiss to Jimin and walked downstairs.

I looked over at Jimin and giggled.
"Awe still a mommy's boy?" I asked teasing him.

Jimin rolled his eyes and put the picture back on my desk.
"She's only like this because what happened recently.." he said and his eyes trailed off from me.

I could tell he wanted to avoid the subject. I frowned and walked over.

"Jimin is everything okay? You know since.. You and whatever her name is broke up?" I asked softly placing my hand on his shoulder.

Jimin looked at my hand then back at me. He fake smile.
"Of course I'm fine."

I can sense the pain behind his shining brown eyes. It hurt me to know my dear Jiminie has been hurt.

"I get we haven't talked or anything since kids but Jimin please tell me if you ever ever need anything. Even if it's to come over and let out your feels while we watch movies or whatever." I said and smiled squeezing his shoulder.

Jimin looked at his feet.
"She loved to do that too." He said and a tear rolled down his cheek.

My heart shattered.
"Jimin no no it's okay." I said and then hugged him close.

He pulled away and quickly walked out wiping his face.

Did I do something wrong? Why was he so hurt of his ex? Did she hurt him?

Questions raced my mind as I began to think about what happened between the two.

I decided it was best to let him cool off. I slipped on my shoes and went outside to find all the adults out in the back.

I walked over to join them and smiled as they noticed my presence.

"Oh hello sweetie! Do you need anything?" My mom asked me

"Oh no I just wanted to come talk with my old neighbors!" I said and hugged them as I took a seat next to them.

They began to talk with me about all of Jimins awards and good grades. Even showing me picture of him going to school dances.

I realised that in every photo for the school dances. Jimin was with the same girl as the picture I saw on his phone.

Awe they dated for a while then. Maybe that's why Jimin is so heart broken.

Jimin's pov

Once y/n brought up the idea of me letting out my feelings and watching movies make me instantly think of Nari.

Nari was her korean name but her real name was Belle. To me she was the most beatuiful girl I've ever seen.

I loved her so much. We dated for many years and then things got worse.

I instantly began to cry at the though or Nari. Y/N went to comfort me and I pushed away walking out quickly.

I didn't want her to see me cry and then worry. After crying a little I went out back.

"Eomma can you come here?" I called from the door way looking down so Y/N couldn't see my puffy face.

Jimin's mom excused herself and went inside. I watched as Jimin avoided eye contact with me.

Did I make him angry at me for bringing up bad memories?

I watched as Jimin and his mom talked in the kitchen. She took out a pill bottle and gave Jimin some pills. He took them quickly and then hugged his mom as I saw tears go down his cheek.

Was something wrong with him? Like is he sick?
Ideas swarmed my mind.

Soon I was snapped out of my thoughts as Jimin and his mom walked out.

Jimin was smiling happily but his eyes... They looked so sad.

"I'm sorry I upset you." I leaned over and whispered to Jimin.

He looked at him and smiled.
"No no it's fine. Just happened out of nowhere. Now shall we get back to talking?" He asked and placed a hand on your knee.

You blushed at his touch and nodded standing.

"Eomma we're going to go talk more!" Jimin called out as he looked at you. "Race you!" He said and ran towards the door.

Yep he's still the same little mochi ten years ago.
