//Edd's POV//

We had just come back from the fishing trip, and although no one- except Tom- caught anything valuable it was still pretty fun! If you're wondering about the puffer fish and 'sir swims a-lot', Tom caught both of those for Matt so he wouldn't complain. I went to my room to put my fishing gear away.

I placed my hat on my desk, humming as I set my fishing rod against the wall to prop it up. I kept thinking about Tom on the trip. He was the happiest I've seen him in awhile! Especially when he fired that harpoon (even when I told him not to bring it).

I guess it was good he did after all, even if him catching an entire whale ended up in us getting banned from the place. It was sure fun when it lasted.

I froze, hearing a large gasp from Tom in the other room. That's not right...
I put the rest of my stuff down and poked my head into the room where Tom was in, glancing down at his harpoons which were now strewn around the floor. There was a silhouetted figure with a lock pick trying to get into Tom's room.

"Hello, old friend!" The accent rang as the mysterious figure revealed itself. It was Tord! Our old Norwegian friend who left like eight years ago to 'follow his dreams, and make it in the big city'!

"Tord!" I greeted, going over to him. I opened my arms and hugged him, smiling brightly to have an old friend back. "Welcome back!"

"Welcome back?" Tom asked, surprised at how friendly I was being to him. I glanced over at him in a small glare, a silent scold almost.

"I hope you don't mind me-" he paused, Matt walking in the room. "-letting myself in.." I wrapped an arm around his shoulder, blushing faintly as I looked at him.

"No! Not at all!" Matt smiled, shaking his hand. "Who are you?" He asked suddenly. "It's me!" He raised his arms, "Tord?"
"He used to live here?" He cocked an eyebrow, a little annoyed at how Matt couldn't remember. It's not his fault, but still.
"Yeah, USED too!" Tom glared at Tord, crossing his arms.

"You really don't remember?" Tord asked, making me lean into him. I got a stern glare from Tom but didn't pay any attention to it as I laid a head on Tord's shoulder.

Matt seemed to be trying to remember, so I decided to lead Tord up to the upstairs with all of our items and mementos from our adventures. "C'mon!" I smiled, dragging him by his arm. "Where are we going?" He asked, curiously. "I'm gonna show you what we've been up to since you left! Just a small filler, you could say." I shrugged, leaving Tom behind with a flash-backing Matt.

Tord stumbled a little on the stairs, so I decided to slow my pace. "Geez', Edd, calm down." He smiled. "I'm not going anywhere for awhile."
At that I slowly froze, but it was a good thing we were upstairs now. I smiled widely, but let him admire everything up here.

"Wow, you guys went on lots of adventures while I was away..." he sighed, "I wish I could've been there..." He trailed off, sounding so sad. I frowned over at him, trying to think of a way we could include him again in one of our 'famous' adventures. "Hey!" I perked up, "I have an idea!"

Tom walked up the stairs to the space that Tord and I were in. "What's going on?"
"We're gonna take Tord on an adventure!!" I exclaimed happily, taking Tord's hand and raising it in 'victory'. He jumped a little, since I was taller than him by a bit.
"What? No! Edd, I'm NOT coming along with you guys!" Tom protested, crossing his arms as he looked away.

"C'mon, Tom! It'll be just a few, and we'll experience it all like old times!" I persuaded, fluttering my lashes. Tom stared at me and then at Tord, squinting a little. "You don't seriously think-"
"I'll buy you Smirnoff!" Tord piped in, smiling down at the drunk.

Tom obviously was giving it thought, but nodded. "Okay, fine. I'm upholding you to that. If you don't then I'm gonna steal your card and buy some myself.." he murmured.
"Then it's settled!" I let go of Tord and clapped my hands. "Let's go!"
