//Tord's POV//

My hands itched as I stared at the cold, blue wall to my lab. I didn't exactly want to stare at it, I just wanted to be in it. The only problem was Edd and Matt getting into it... I could only trust Tom because he was apart of one of my experiments, since I ran out of lab rats to test on.
Why Tom?
It's simple, I hate him. Well... then why did I think I could trust him with something as big as this?
He doesn't know the full power of this lab, he doesn't understand the codes and commands given out so that shouldn't be a problem. He's also smart enough to not press random buttons whenever he wanted.

I sighed, turning my body to look over at the open door which Tom left from. He left to go get a snack, eh? From how long he's taking he's probably drunk off his rocker. Not that I'm complaining, though. One thing that I need him sober for is to ask if he's felt any side affects from the chemical.. whatever, just act normal for now.

After about fifteen minutes of me thinking of conversation starters and the past, Tom finally came back into the room with some candy item. "What are those?"
"Licorice Allsorts." Tom chuckled, "Wanna try one?"
"Licorice?"
"Don't be a pussy." Tom huffed, shoving one in my face. I rolled my eyes and slowly took one, popping the sweet into my mouth.
After a few chews my face scrunched up and I started shaking my head in disgust. This candy was horrible! It was bitter, I can't describe it. Just nasty!

As I peaked my eyes open I saw and heard that Tom was laughing his butt off, slapping his knee. "That's the only reason why I bought these years ago!" He howled. Years ago?
I managed to swallow the sweet, thankful I didn't try and put a handful in my mouth. "How old were those?!" I asked, coughing just a little.

"I dunno, nine years maybe."
"Do they expire?!"
"I wouldn't think so." Tom shrugged, grabbing an all-sort and putting it in his mouth.
I stared, dumbfounded. "You LIKE these?"
"Yeah, why? If I'm gonna buy a bag just to see you suffer I better enjoy them too. Don't want them to go to waste, I know Edd and Matt won't eat them." Well, he had a good point.

I only shook my head, grimacing at the awful taste that lingered on my tongue. "Hey, has Edd been acting weird lately?" I asked suddenly, making Tom flinch. He looked away from me. "I don't... think so.." he mumbled, which this was off. Something was up, for sure.
"You sure about that?" I raised a brow, squinting over at him. "Yeah, pretty sure. If something is wrong I wouldn't know." Tom slowly shrugged, his shoulders lowering and relaxing.

I sighed, realizing that I'd probably not get anything out of him and id have to ask Edd about it. Okay. That's fine, I guess. I forced a small smile, nudging him with my shoulder. "Bring any real snacks?" I asked, chuckling. He pulled out some crisps, tossing them at me. Unfortunately they managed to hit me in the face, dropping into my lap.
Tom snorted, putting another licorice piece into his mouth. I rolled my eyes, playfully.

Tom was likable; he was very intimidating, though. He didn't have muscle, his arms sticks and he was short and kinda chubby. The looks he gave were downright terrifying. It's bad when he's angry, too. He's just... Odd to say the least. With the lack of eyes I have to say, for a guy, he's pretty attractive.

I unraveled the bag and pulled out a small, broken crisp from it. "So, Tom..." I started, popping the chip in my mouth. After a few bits of chewing I asked, "Has anything else been going on since I left?"
"Not much, I guess." Tom shrugged slowly. "New adventures... You were on some..." he subconsciously rubbed his head, where the small goose egg was still present. I couldn't help but feel the slightest bit of remorse, but I didn't show it.
"Anything else?"
"Matt and Edd have pretty much been the same." He informed, looking down at his bag of licorice all sorts. "I feel sick." He commented, suddenly.

"Then stop eating those." I rolled my eyes, "Dumbass."
"Commie." Tom retorted, leaning over to place the bag on his nightstand. "So... Are we sharing a bed?" I asked, a little bit more quiet then my other questions. He piped up, "What- oh.." he glanced back. "I mean, sure. Just don't be gay, I guess?"
"Wouldn't dream of it, Jehovah." I snickered, making Tom scowl.

Sharing a bed will be interesting, I hope Tom will comply.
