"Volveré, lo prometo. regresaré a ti. Te protegeré con mi respiración moribunda si es la última cosa que hago."
"What are you singing?" A tiny girl asked. Her black curly hair danced along with her movements, graceful enough to be the colored leaves soaring through the spring breeze. Her blue eyes made no competition with the moon, they would completely outshine and dominate. She skipped along the damp sidewalk next to a bigger figure dressed in black. Hand in hand, they carried on through the dark streets of the city.
"Just a little song, pequeña," The dark figure replied. Her voice sounded soothing and understanding as she walked with the tiny girl. The figure herself was slim and average height. Her hair was shiny black locks was tied in a pretty bun and her eyes were a pierce, but bright green. With her white bandana, in one hand and a small hand in the other, she walked and sung with that soothing voice of hers.
The girls stopped at a tall building with chipped paint and several cracks. The little girl's smile faded and she looked up and the singing woman.
"What is this place?" The girl asked. The figure bent down and took of her necklace. Her green eyes were filled with tears that refused to travel down her soft, pale cheeks.
"Well pequeña," The female held back her pain and looked at the blue necklace. "This is going to be like a school for a hours. Okay?"
She put the necklace around the girl's neck and wiped her tears with her black sleeve that was spotted dry blood.
"This was mama's. She gave it to me before she left, so I'm giving it to you. I know you never seen her before, but I hope she sees you," The figure's tears traveled anyways, leaving her pale face red.
"Dont cry, Amirah. Do you promise to pick me up from school? I want to tell you all about my day," The little girl asked. The figure stood up and walked away from the little girl
"I promise, pequeña," But the figure faded within her last words.

The little girl turns and faces the window of the building and begins to cry.
"She left me. She didnt come back to me. She broke her promise to me," The little girl wipes her pretty little eyes and whispers to herself. The little girl hears footsteps and turns around. She suddenly stopped.
"She forgot about us, Elena," The little girl continues, "She's not coming back, Elena. Its all your fault, Elena. She's gone, Elena. You're next, Elena."
