Chapter 2

Tonight is a street race but I am on with Tran, his cousin, and their crew. Tran says he will release me after tonight which is nice he has taught me a lot. I have a purple wig on because I started street racing with it and now it is part of me. When I go back to cars I'll stick with the hair. It's pretty quiet tonight no street racers on our side but it is still early. Thirty minutes pass and I see a green Mitsubishi eclipse I ride to Johnny and tell him and we race up to the eclipse. We tell them to pull over and we pulled into one of Tran's family restaurant. Two men stepped out of the car while Johnny and his cousin get off their bikes and take their helmets off. Once I see a familiar blonde man with blue eye, I take my helmet off and walk around the car and men. Johnny is looking at the car and asks whose it is and neither of them claimed it. "Talk to me Jinx what we got?" "Well by the looks of it whoever drove this has a massive lead foot," I say looking around. "It also looks like this isn't Dom's work so it has to be this newbie," I say while running my hand along Dom's chest. "There is also enough Nos in this car to blow it to smithereens." "Let's move out." I walk back over to my bike putting on my helmet and then start up my bike. We ride off only for Tran and his cousin to go back and shoot up the car. I shake my head and speed off to my car, I know those boys will need a ride. I get to the car garage and hop in my car. Pulling out of the garage and turning down the road back towards Brian and Dom. When I see them I pull the e-brake and slide up to the curb. They just look in shock as I step out of the car. "Hello, again boys would you like a lift." "Why do you want to help us?" "I was only riding with Tran cause I was debited to him but he released me." "Hey, Jinx how you been girl?" "Oh just fine Toretto, so Brian are you really that blind or have you been gone so long you don't recognize your own sister" "Katlynn? No way" We hug and Dom clears his throat. "Your brother and sister? This your ride Jinx?" "Yeah, and I will start racing her again now that I can race cars again. Yes, he is my stupid brother." "Kat, why haven't you been racing cars?" "Long story Brian so why don't you drive, while Dom you get the pleasure of me on your lap." "Oh and Brian you scratch my baby and I will kill you, I know how lead-footed you are." Dom started chuckling as Brian glared at me. We got in the car as we took off Dom grabbed my hips his thumbs touching my bare skin. It sends a shiver through my body, he noticed and I quickly move his hands and pulled my shirt down. "Please don't touch me." "Still don't like people touching you." "Shut up Brian last I checked you are the worst brother ever."

We pull up to Dom's house and I got out and off his lap. When he got out I hugged him and started to walk to the driver side of the car. As Dom got up his steps he turned and called for us. "Do you both want to come in for a beer?" "You read my mind." Brian and I both walk in and the place is packed so many people some are making out some are playing music while others are just drinking. Dom looks around as if looking for something or someone. His teammate Leon says "Dom we were just coming to look for you." As Dom smacks the beer out of his hand, he then goes up to Vince and asks him where he was. "Man there were cops everywhere." "This your beer?" He nods and Dom takes it grabbing two more he says something to someone in the back before heading our way. "You alright?" "Am I alright?" Dom replies to Letty's stupid question. "Yo Dom why did you bring the buster back and who's the skirt?" "Because the buster kept me out of handcuffs, he brought me back he didn't run back to the hideout. Skirts here is Jinx and made sure that Tran and his gang didn't kill us and helped bring me back." "Yeah well, she looks like a hoe to me." "Back off Letty." She gave Dom a 'you can't be serious' look before turning and huffing off. "You two can have any beer as long as it's corona." Brian and I both grab one and he tells Brian that the one he grabbed was Vince's. I giggle as Brian takes a drink starring Vince down. Brian asks for the bathroom and is shown the way. Dom walks up to me. "So Jinx tell me your story." He whispers in his deep raspy voice sending shivers down my spine. "As fun as that sounds I can't stay I got to find a job tomorrow since I am no longer debited to Johnny." "You never did tell us how that happened." "Well, maybe another time handsome for now I have to go." "Or you can stay and work in my garage, I heard Tran ask you about Brian's car so I take it you know cars." I looked in his eyes and saw a glint of hope that I would stay. "You're right I do know cars and fine I'll stay for a little bit." He pulls me towards the front as Brian comes back into the room. "Oh Spilner when you aren't working at Harry's you're working in my garage and you still owe me a ten-second car." I laugh and Brian smirks. "Be careful sis." "Don't worry your pretty head about me I can handle this big teddy bear." Brian laughed as Dom grabbed my waist and throws me over his shoulder I yelped as he carried me out the door. Once there we sit on the couch and talk about our past.I tell him how my father and his friends would have poker nights at our house in the basement. They would get so drunk that mom would send Brian and me to bed early. However, in the early morning, my father and his friends would sneak into my room, where they would all take turns raping me.I tell him that after my mom took off and brian rarely came home the rapes got worse and they would beat me. I tell him how I stumbled upon a street fighter one day walking. I admired the people fighting they took beatings and dished them out they were so strong. So that day I decided to become and street fighter. I became stronger I was able to hold my father and his friends off. I said at the age of sixteen I was able to get my license and when that plastic touched my hands I started racing so I could finally leave and get away from him. I explained how I went to juvie for beating a man into a coma, also how Brian taught me how to drive and work on cars before he started disappearing. He told me all about his life and how he and Mia grew up and how everyone became part of his family. He then asked if I wanted to stay the night and if I wanted to be part of his family.
