Cameron's POV

"Hey guys" Jennifer  greets us. "Hey Jennifer sit next to me~" Christian flirts. "No Chris..  I'm sitting next to Cameron.. leave me alone" Jennifer bluntly states. "Jennifer if you're  going to sit next to Cam, I have to not be sitting next to him" Angel  rolls his eyes. Angels' never liked Jennifer since middle school for  whatever reason. She's not that bad of person, so I don't see a reason to dislike her. Either way he has a  point, I was sitting on the edge of the table in the school cafeteria.  There was no room for her to sit.

"Well then move brat"  Jennifer responds rudely. "Yeah no.. there's a perfectly good seat next  to Chris" Angel replies. "Cam honey, can you tell your boyfriend here to  move.." Jennifer mocks. "Can you just shut up Jennifer.. and go hang  out somewhere else" Sabrina yells back to Jennifer. (A/N: yes there's a character named after me.. even tho Sabrina is my name, Sabrina isn't based off my personality)

"Awh come on Sabrina, I  know you just wanna get with me anyways" Jennifer smirks. "No I'll  pass.. I don't wanna get any STDs from a whore" Sabrina argues back.  "Can you guys chill out and stop ganging up on Jennifer?" I reply in  Jennifer's defense. Yeah Jennifer can be rude at times, but ganging up  on her and calling her a whore isn't cool either. "We're seniors now so  stop acting so childish" I continue. "Of course you would defend her.."  Angel mumbles under his breath. "Awh thanks Cam!!! You're such a sweet  guy~" Jennifer says while giving me a hug and kissing my cheek. She then  continues to say, "but since I'm not wanted here anyways, I'm gonna  leave.." she begins to walk away but turns around mouthing "call me"  with her hand in the shape of a phone, afterwards she swings her blonde  hair then goes out of view.

"She's just trying to  get in your pants Cam" Sabrina tells me. "She's nice to me... what's  wrong with kindness" I respond defensively. "It's true Cam.. there's a  reason I don't like her" Angel joins in. "What's the reason then??" I  question him wanting to know why he's so against her. "She's not good  for you.." "And how do you know what's good for me or not" I wondered.  "because I'm you're damn best friend and you deserve better!" He yells  at me basically making a scene.

Why was he so defensive?  Why does he care about who I date. He's my best friend nothing more.  But for some reason I felt a fuzzy feeling in my stomach once he said that, which I just  ignored. But before I could continue  thinking the bell rang for class, causing me to jump back to reality.

"Okay, don't forget to  turn in your applications for colleges by the end of the month" Mrs.  Nuñez, my English teacher stated. Shit. College applications are due by  the end of the month. I don't even know what college I want to go to.  Everyone I knew had their lives planned out. They even have been  accepted into the schools they want to go to. Me on the other hand don't  even know where I want to go. Angel is going to Photography school,  Chris is joining the military, Jennifer got accepted to Harvard (which  makes sense, since she is president of student government), and Sabrina  is even going to Med-School.

Maybe I'll figure out what I want by the end of month but, I don't think I'll have my application in. What am I going to do.

Angel's POV

I got so mad for no  reason. That's weird. I just got mad the second I saw Jennifer kiss him.  Like he can't be that dumb right? She's so obviously throwing herself  onto him, it's obnoxious.

"You alright angel?"  Sabrina asked me looking worried while in the middle of a lesson in class. "Yeah I'm fine.." I lied. "No you're  not, I know you, what's wrong" she asked again more concerned. "I don't  really know.. I think I'm having feelings for someone" I replied back  shyly. "Same angel.. same" she sighed. "Wait what???!!" I looked at her  shocked. "Shhhh! get back to work Angelo" My Math teacher remarked. "Sorry.." I responded back softly. "It's Rashelle.." she hid away her face to hide her blush. "Wait you're talking  about Jennifer's friend??" I asked a little bit annoyed since she shouldn't  be falling for someone associated with Jennifer's Clique. It's bad news.

"She's nothing like  Jennifer... she's actually sweet and doesn't seem to be interested in  guys anyways" She explained feeling a bit of shame. "It's alright.. have  you talked to her?" I reassured her. "Umm... sorta.. we made out" she  blushed. "Oh my god Sabrina..." I was still shocked. "Do you know  nothing about kiss and tell?" I teased.

Sabrina isn't the type  to just make out with anyone either. I was shocked but happy to hear  that she's able to love again since what happened with her ex. We don't  talk about it though since she was broken hearted for months and just  didn't want to come out her room. Fortunately Sabrina's change in  subject caused me to not think about what was going on in my life. We talked a bit more, but as soon as we were finishing the work due at the end of the hour, the bell rang and school was over. We turned our work in, got our stuff, and walked together out of class. We split ways at the exit once she saw Rashelle. I continued walking until I saw Cameron walking up to his car.

"Hey Cam!" I smiled at  Cameron as I saw him stop walking and turn to see who yelled his name. "Hey Angel, are you coming  over today?" He seemed hesitant to ask though. "I mean if you want me to" I responded feeling a bit  awkward. "Well Jennifer is coming over to finish a project, so maybe tomorrow?" Great. Now Jennifer is gonna come over and  try to seduce him, but who am I to say anything. Right? Especially based on the  scene I made at lunch. "Oh okay.. have fun I guess" I felt upset and  ignored the feeling.

Cameron's POV

I  was driving home feeling a bit like shit. I noticed something off in Angels mood.  Was it Jennifer? She was only coming over for a project we had. Why does  everyone think she's trying to get in my pants? Wouldn't that be a  compliment? I then felt my phone vibrate and a message popped up on the  screen:

From Jennifer:
Hey Cam~ do you want me to come over now?

I parked on the side of the road before I responded. (A/N: don't text while driving)

I replied:
No don't worry about it.. I'll pick you up

From Jennifer:
Awh you're so sweet <3  I'm at my house, I'll send the address x

She sends me the address and change my direction to go pick her up.

She wasn't that far away anyways so, in 10 minutes I was already at her front door. I then knocked on her door, and a couple of seconds later I see Jennifer standing there with her backpack smiling. She changed her outfit from the one she was wearing at school. She was wearing a pink sundress and ballerina looking flats. With that she had her hair tied up in pony tail. She looked cute.

"Hey Cameron~" she looked at me with her smile before giving me a hug. "Hey Jenny.. you look cute" I smiled in response. She seemed stunned that I complimented her. "Awh thanks Cam... Should we go?" she asked. Which i responded with a nod and we walked to my car. Most of the ride was quiet until a song on my playlist that Angel showed me played. Young Gods by Halsey.

"But do you feel like a young god?
You know the two of us are just young gods
And we'll be flying through the streets with the people underneath
And they're running, running, running again"

"I know this song.. it used to be on my playlist." She spoke up. "Oh.. it means a lot to me" I stated. "why does it?" she questioned. "It has a nice meaning... it has to do with how the guy and her are so in love, they're soaring through the sky like "young gods" while the people below still haven't found love yet so they're still human.. it's low key poetry.." After I said that I felt like I made a fool of myself. Poetry Cameron? That just sounds dumb. She just looked at me for a second before opening her mouth again. "That's so gay," she giggled. "but its cute that you think like that" she finished. I smiled, then the environment returned back to a comfortable silence. She wasn't acting as clingy as she usually was. It was a whole other side of her I never saw. I enjoyed it.
