Angel's POV

"What did you say!?" Cameron spoke up. "what?! I-I did-n't say any-anything" I stuttered. "Did I hear you right?" He asked again even more confused. "What did you think I said?" I asked worriedly. He can't know. Shit. "You have feelings for your best friend?," He asked still confused. "Am I right?" I stood still. Fuck. I had to lie. He can't know. "Yeah... I was talking about... uh-Christian.. yeah" I stuttered. He looked surprised, but then again he looked upset at the same time. "Really? Christian?" He questioned again. Why is he so worried about this. "How long have you liked h-" he began, although I stopped him. "Stop asking so many questions Cam" I finally said to change the subject.

He seemed shocked again. It was awkward in the car for about a minute, so I decided to turn the radio on. He seemed to want to say something but remained silent instead. What did he want to say? The car stayed like that the whole ride.

We finally got to his house and the silence just grew stronger. "Why.. why him.." Cameron finally spoke up. "Because he's good looking.." I lied. I didn't like Christian. He's a player, conceited, and straight. But I had to buy into the lie so Cameron wouldn't find out. "That's it?" He seemed angry, yet relieved. Why is he acting so weird. "Don't you deserve someone better?" He continued.

That set me off. Cameron is dating Jennifer. The prime example of a girl who didn't deserve him. "Shouldn't I be asking you the same?" I started feeling pissed off. "You're with Jennifer.. even though we told you she's just trying to get you to have sex with her" I bluntly said. I was so mad. Like he shouldn't be telling me who to like. I tried to tell him the same but he didn't listen. So who is he, to talk. "She's not who you think she is" he responded back defensively. "I don't care about who she truly is, I don't trust her" I sounded so jealous. He could probably tell too. "Well maybe if you got to know her, instead of calling her a whore every time for a rumor that's not even true!!" He began to yell.

We were still outside his house. We didn't even unlock the door to his home. "How do you know that! We all saw the picture! She could have just told you that so, you wouldn't see her for the whore she truly is!" I yell again. His mouth was wide open, and then he clenched his fist. He looked at me and started to walk over. Suddenly I felt a sharp pain in my cheek. He punched me.

"Leave.. now." I stood there, feeling like I messed up. I looked away, but I heard him unlock the door. He walked in, then slammed the door in my face. I turned around, and started walking away. I felt a huge lump in my throat, but I swallowed back down.

I really fucked up.

Cameron's POV

I was steaming from my head to my toes. What's his damn issue? He acts like my best friend but doesn't respect the girl I'm with. I was enraged. The fact that I hit him though. Should I have done that? No, he deserved it.

He shouldn't tell me who to date. Why did I argue about Chris then? I felt my mind going fuzzy. I need to take a nap and just sort this out later. I walked up to my room, dropped my bag, and plopped into my bed and instantly drifted off.

~time skip~

I felt groggy once I woke up. I opened my eyes and saw my mom shaking me lightly. "Cam.. wake up honey Sabrina's downstairs.. she said she need to talk to you about something." "Tell her I'll be down in a sec" I reply wiping the leftover sleep in my eyes.

I know why she wants to talk to me. Angel. It's only been an hour. Don't tell me Angel is already telling everyone about what happened. Either way I don't take back what I did, whether she likes it or not. I care about Jennifer, and no one will tell me otherwise. I began to finally get up, stretching my limbs and relaxing them back down. I made my way down stairs when I saw Sabrina sitting on my couch on her phone.
