When Moana woke up Maui was fast asleep next to her. She could see the feet of someone outside their curtain. Moana sat up and stretched and then made her way over to the curtain. She steeped outside and saw her mother.
"Morning Moana." Her mother said as she gave her a hug.
"Morning." Moana said as she pulled out of her mother's hug.
"Your father is having a meeting with the council. He wants you to be there." Moanas mother said before leaving. Whatever the meeting was about Moanas mother did not want to talk about it.
Moana walked back in and saw Maui sitting up. She walked over to him and sat down next to him.
"Who was that?" Maui said before giving Moana a kiss.
"My mom. My dads having a meeting and I have to go." Moana said after pulling away. Maui nodded and then went back to sleep. Moana gave Maui a light kiss on the forehead and then left for the meeting.
When Moana got inside everyone stopped talking and looked at her. There was a spot between her father and the dad councilor to sit that was right in the middle.
"So what was this meeting called for?" Moana said sitting down.
"Its about Maui chief." The head councilor said.
"What about him?" Moana said slightly angered.
"He's a slight distraction to you. You spend a lot if time with him." The councilor said making Moana enraged with anger. That one comment was enough, Moana couldn't take it any lo her so she left and went back to her and Maui's hut.
