I looked down at Nara who slept silently on the couch as my roommates gathered around finally deciding to keep her. It was getting late in the afternoon. I decided it was a good time to start cooking dinner for everyone.I looked through the cabinets deciding to make spaghetti.

I was sitting on the couch my arms hanging over the back as I sighed exasperated. I couldn't believe Edd decided to adopt a child. Well speaking of that child she was currently curled up on the couch dividing me and Tom. I looked over at Tom to see him petting her head. Okay that is very confusing.
It wasn't very long until she began to stir. She slowly sat herself up facing me with her uncovered eye still closed. She stretched her arms about above her head letting out a silent yawn. She then quickly opened her eye looking at me curiously. She gasped in shock.
"A kitty-cat!!" She screamed sending Tom into a laughing fit. I glared at Tom who continued to laugh at me. Her eye widened slightly when I glared which she took to be at her. "Oh I'm sorry I didn't mean to!" She began to play with her hoodie strings looking down shamefully. Tom had stopped laughing confused on why she as as apologizing. I looked down at her in utter shock. No one ever says sorry to me even when they say things far more hurtful."I erm it's okay?" I somewhat comforted. She looked up at me in surprise. She then closed her mouth and smiled before getting off the couch and running into another room. Me and Tom stared at each other confused.
(Nara's p.o.v.)
I couldn't believe it I was forgiven. I quickly walked in to the kitchen to find Edd stirring a pot which smelled amazing making my mouth water. He looked around at me giggled a bit at my drooling. I quickly wiped the slobber off my face and walked over to him only standing to his hips. I looked up at him and asked him "What's in?" While pointing to the pot. "Spaghetti!" He answered. I stared at him confused. "What's spaghetti?" I asked innocently. He looked at me in disbelief. I walked away slowly as he stared.
I then walked backwards straight into Matt. He looked down at me with a friendly smile. I quickly sprinted away. I soon found myself in the hall. I walked over to the corner and plopped myself down thinking over the events of the day. I smiled slightly knowing all of this truly happened.
I stayed there silently until Edd called that the food was done. I quickly walked down the hall and into the kitchen at the mention of food. I walked in to find everyone sitting down at the table eating. I stood there awkwardly not knowing if the food was for me or just them. Edd quickly caught sight of me and motioned me towards a chair with a plate.
I quietly set myself down eyeing the plate warily. "Is something wrong?"Matt asked. "Is it poisoned?" I asked. Everyone froze at my question. "No?" Edd said slowly. I nodded and quickly ate thinking they might take it away before I finished. I then sat quietly and waited for them to finish.
