(Nara's p.o.v.)
That was fun.
I couldn't stop giggling and soon enough it spread like plague over to Tom and Tord who were rolling on the ground with me. I had never laughed this much in my life. No I've never laughed in my life till now. I stopped laughing at this thought. I didn't want to think about before.
Tom and Tord stopped giggling once they noticed I had stopped laughing. I just ignored their curious gaze as I stared up into the sky. It never looked this colorful before. Before I only saw it rarely but when I did it was grey and dreary. I let out a sad sigh before sitting up dusting myself off. I then walked over to the tree and sat down with my head resting on my knees.
They continued to look at me confused before getting up themselves. "Nara! It's time for lunch!" Tord called before heading back inside with Tom on his tail. I silently nodded to myself looking at the sky one last time. I then picked myself up slowly walking towards the house.
I slid open the glass door and walked over to the table giving a lighthearted smile. They conversed amongst themselves about something called school as I observed the food on my plate. It was a flat triangle made of bread covered with what looked like blood and cheese.
(YES, SHE DOES NOT KNOW WHAT PIZZA IS AND IT IS A NORMAL PIZZA NOT A BLOOD PIZZA.)
I quickly devoured the meal humming quietly to myself in admiration. Who ever thought up this food item was a hero to me. So beatiful. I sat thinking on its beauty until.
"We have to get her some new clothes besides that raggedy hoodie that she wears all the time!" Matt screeched. I looked up at him before hugging my jacket protectively. "Well I don't think that she's gonna let go of that hoodie. But she could use some clothes." Edd chuckled. "Come on then! To the store!" Matt shouted standing in a knight position with one leg on the table and his arm raised like he was holding a sword. I giggled slightly at his antics.
"Okay but after lunch" Edd agreed. "Awww okay." Matt stated glumly before sitting back down in his seat. I waited patiently for them to finish. When they finished we were off to the car me buckling up between Tom and Tord.
I looked out the window on Tom's side watching clouds fly by. Soon enough we had arrived at a place Matt called the mall. I glanced up at the building. It was huge and intimidating. I shrunk a bit in my seat as the others made their way out of the car. I hesitantly followed behind them.
This was very frightening.
(Matt's p.o.v.)
As we were walking up to the mall I saw little Nara trailing behind us. I frowned slightly, she looked lonely. Then an idea popped into my head. I secretly walked up behind her doing my best to be quiet. I then grabbed her and put her onto my back in a piggybacking position. She let out a startled yelp before quieting down and gently wrapping her arms around my neck.
The others giggled at me lightly which I returned with my beatiful grin. We then went around through the stores. I then stopped in front of a mirror to admire my self. Nara looked over my hair to see why I was doing and caught a glimpse of her own reflection. She quickly looked away letting out soft barely audible whimpering. I frowned slightly before moving along following the others.
Nara soon started struggling in my hold signaling wanting to be let down. Which I obliged. I sat here down fiddling up her head to which she gave me a ghost of a smile. I smiled brightly in return.
(Nara's p.o.v.)
After being put down I wandered away slightly to a shelf of cat styled outfits. It was beatiful and soon enough I found myself staring at the cat shirts, socks, and especially the little cat boots. I then realized they were gone. My breathing began to quicken and my vision blurred. They probably left on purpose. They didn't want me. They realized that I was disgusting.
I then curled into a ball against the wall trying to erase myself as the world around me faded into a colorless space. Just grey. I loved that colour it was so soothing. It told the truth of the world. Sorrowful and numb.
(Tord's p.o.v.)
We kept browsing through the clothing section trying to find something for Nara. I looked around and realized that I couldn't see Nara. "Umm Guys where's Nara?" I asked my accent growing thick in worry. They looked side to side before worry consumed them as well. We quickly split up tearing through the store to find her.
I soon found myself in a section with anime designed clothes with cute cats and other things. I looked over at a shelf with cat socks and out of the corner of my eye I saw a grey object against the wall. I turned to see Nara curled up against the wall with her eye visible. I gasped. Her eye looked so lifeless. She sat there motionless not even paying me mind.
I quickly crouched down beside her. I could hear her breathing unsteadily. I shook her shoulder "Nara" "Nara!" "NARA!" I repeated her name trying to get her attention but she continued to sit unmoving. I quickly picked her up, she didn't move, she would normally squirm whenever someone picked her up. This was worrying.
I ran through the store trying to find Edd. I soon found him with Tom. When they caught sight of me they were first relieved when they saw Nara but it faded when they saw my distressed expression.
"What's wrong?" Edd asked. " I don't know!" I said panic ebbing at my voice. I quickly handed her to Edd. All the colour drained from his face at that moment. "We have to go, Tom go find Matt, me and Tord will be at the house meet us there when you find him." Tom nodded and ran off. Then I followed Edd on his march to the car.
The car ride was slow and agonizing. Nara just sat not hearing or seeing anyone.
