(Nara's p.o.v.)
Grey. It blurred all around me. This is why they called me monster. I could go completely numb when the world becomes too much. It even happened when I was born. The doctors thought I was dead when I came out of the womb. But that was seven years ago. I would still do it not feeling anything if it became too much.
I continued to look into the grey world around me. Then I saw the faintest of blue and red. Such bold colours. It was odd compared to the grey. I moved my head slightly to look. I could soon hear voices but it soon silenced but the world began to clear up. I blinked my eye multiple times trying to return sight.
I soon realized I was in a dark room guessing it must of been nighttime. I was on my bed and leaning against the wall. There were two chairs in front of me with two figures hunched over in them. Probably fallen asleep while watching me. I could feel tears threatening to spill. They cared enough to watch me. I quickly wiped them away and made my way off the bed. I stood in front of the sleeping figures trying to see who they were.
Tom and Tord.
I silently went out of the room and out into the halls of the house. I quickly made my way to the kitchen and opened the fridge. I took out a packet of bacon and a carton of eggs. I knew how to cook I used to be forced to cook for them when they were too tired and drunk. I quickly whipped up some scrambled eggs and bacon and set it on their plates. I looked over at the clock and saw it was one hour until the sun rose. I decided to go outside to see the stars.
As I walked outside I spotted a ladder that led to the roof. Perfect. I quickly climbed up sitting down the edge of the roof. I looked up at the stars. So bright. I spotted one of them that was brighter than the others. I remembered wishing on a star like that once.
I smiled. It came true. I'm here. I felt tears roll down my face as I stared up. A smile spread across my face. For once I felt warm. No longer numb. It was amazing. "T-th-ank y-you...Thank you...THANK YOU!" I shouted at the sky.
I sat there for who knows how long with a cheerful smile on my face. Soon enough I saw the sun rising in the distance. I giggled quietly as the sun rose.
Such a wonderful sunrise.
Then I heard startled shouting below me. I looked down to see Tom and Tord. I smiled.
