The rain steadily fell and tapped Roselyn’s parasol, reminding her of teardrops falling from her own eyes.  She stood next to her father and her brother, Nathan.  Her mother stayed home with her sisters company.  Roselyn was aware of her family's intense stares upon her.  She was not expected to attend her sister's funeral, she was anticipated to grieve with her mother and aunts back at her home.  Mary Margaret's death came suddenly, the family of five abruptly decreasing to four.  Roselyn looked at the closed casket and remembered the last time she saw her sister.  How stiff and motionless her body laid in the casket.  Which was very unlike her once living sibling.  Her mind cringed away the image of her sister's stillness and the false, almost submissive smile.  Inhaling deeply, the scents of fresh flowers crept into her nose.  She looked up and looked at the crowd of people who attended the funeral.  She saw Mary Margaret's old fiancé, Mr. Baldwin staring back at her and gave a rather grim look.  She quickly looked away and saw a silhouette of a man leaning against a tree, isolated from the crowd.  He had his arms folded in a rude manner and one of his legs was leaning up against the trunk of the tree.  Roselyn felt instantly agitated by this man.  She looked up at the gloomy sky and saw light creep through the clouds.  The light grew larger until it invaded her view of everything except for the silhouetted man.  Soon, the bright light covered even his form.  "Mrs. Roselyn, it is time to wake up now, breakfast is nearly ready."  The familiar voice of her maid, Charlotte chirped.  Roselyn opened her drowsy eyes.   She realized the light that disturbed her dream was the morning sunlight seeping through the curtains.  Roselyn was aware of why Charlotte was in such a cheerful mood.  This was the first day Roselyn was able to stop mourning her sister's death.  She felt as if she were loosing her sister all over again.
