I know that was NOT who I think it was...I hope he didn't recognize me. Shoot Devin is gonna be pissed....but then again.....he doesn't have to know...I mean when it's necessary I'll tell him.

Stacey's Pov•••••••••••••••••••••

I really didn't want Kevin to leave but I guess I should get back to work. As a matter of fact I think I should go and get his adapter right now to get it out the way.

"Uhhhh Mr.Gordon?" I looked everywhere but his him.

"Yes Stacey?" He sounded so calm and relaxed compared to a couple of hours ago. I'm starting to think that he doesn't like Kevin.

"I was thinking that since I'm done with all my work that I should...go-and-get-that-adapter-to-get-that-out-the-way" I quickly blinked my eyes mentally slapping myself. Great my boss knows that I'm afraid to talk to him now.

He grabbed his jacket and stood up.

"Well I guess we can go now" I kind of wanted to go ALONE.

"But you have a meeting schedule in a couple of hours." He paused putting his jacket on and stared at me.

"Cancel it"Great!

Right now Mr.Gordon and I were exiting the store. The whole entire time he was trying to convince me to get something to eat with him and I kept resisting even though I was starving, I just wanted to be home AWAY from Mr.Gordon.

"I'm sorry Mr.Gordon I'm just not hungry" I gave him a shy smile praying that he wouldn't get pissed that I kept repeating "I'm just not hungry" for every one of his responses.

"Uhh I swear it's like you try to avoid me" he said in defense. That's because I am trying to avoid you, you creep.

"Believe what you want" I rolled my eyes.

We begin crossing a street only a good quarter on a mile away from the station. A guy was walking straight towards us. I smiled once I recognized who it was.

"Aye what's up Daniel " Mr.Gordon and Daniel both dabbed each other. Before I could say anything Mr.Gordon continued to speak.

"This is my BEAUTIFUL assistant Stacey" he announced. AGAIN I tried to open my mouth to say " we already met" but Daniel quickly spoke.giving me a hug and whispering quickly in my ear.

"Pretend we just met" he said,on the inside I was so confused but on the outside I did what I was asked.

"It's nice to meet you Daniel" I said quietly. He he smiled. Then looked back at Devin.

"I stopped by at the station looking for you man. But one of the workers said that you left to do some errands " he explained as to why he was around this area.

" yeah, my computer wasn't working so Stacey and I walked to a store to get an adapter." Devin rosed the bag up showing the adapter in the clear orange bag. Honestly I wasn't going to listen to their conversation so I excused myself being surprised that Mr.Gordon aloud me to walk back to the station myself.

I organized my desk a little and grabbed my belongings and headed home. Why did Daniel not want Mr.Gordon to know that we already met before? As much as I'm good at keeping secrets, I couldn't stand keeping them. I  feel very guilty when doing so but I try and get over it. I stopped by a Jack-in-the-Box to get something to grub on while I headed home.

"Hi, welcome to jack-in-the-box may I please take your order?"

Shit that was a close one. If Devin knew that me and Stacey been knew each other his paranoid ass would killed me.

  I known Devin as far back when when we were  kids. All my life when he would do something bad I always helped him get out of trouble.When we were teens I learned my lesson to not talk to any girls that he had in mind.....but that's for a later story for me to tell.

I just hope that whatever is going on between those two,Stacey won't do anything that might tick him off. It never really goes well with girls who tried to turn Devin down...
