Episode 4: Remember

February 23rd, 2030

Area C, Indiana

Winter

A man named Marcus is preparing the campfire to keep his wife, Leila,  warm during the winter stage. Area C suffered a chain reaction in nature that causes winter to dure more longer. The winter stage starts from November and ends in July. So, it's difficult for many to survive this stage. Now, Marcus calls Leila:

Marcus: Leila.

Leila is inside the tent with Tim, who is sick because of the cold. Leila gives Tim warm water and tells him to rest a bit. Then, Tim asks Leila:

Tim: When are we going to get out of this?

Leila: Soon. Soon.

Tim is lying in his sleeping bag, covered with homemade sheets.

Leila: Try to cover yourself, Tim. You know it's cold.

Tim: Yeah, I know. (*COUGHS*)

Leila hears Marcus calling her.

Leila: I'm going to see what Marcus wants from me. Stay here and rest. Ok?

Leila goes outside to see what Marcus wants.

Leila: Yeah?

Marcus lit up the fire and tells Leila:

Marcus: Do you have something old that I can use?

Leila: Like what?

Marcus: An old sheet or something. The wind can turn off the fire.

Leila: I'll check.

Marcus: Hurry.

Leila runs back to the tent and starts finding an old sheet or rag. Tim asks him:

Tim: What are you looking for?

Leila: An old rag or something.

Tim: For what?

Leila: To cover the fire from winds.

Tim: Look over there.

Tim points at his backpack.

Leila: You have something there?

Tim: Yeah.

Leila: Ok.

Leila grabs Tim's backpack and opens it. 

Leila: Tim?

Tim: Yeah?

Leila: There's an old blanket.

Tim: Yeah. What about it?

Leila: It looks like the same blanket, we found you with, 5 years ago.

Tim: Burn it.

Leila: What?

Tim: I don't need it.

Leila: What do you mean?

Tim: My mom made me that when I was 5 years old. I don't want to be haunted by old memories.

Leila: ...

Leila feels worried about Tim.

Leila: are you ok?
