An eye for an eye would make the whole world go blind.

Jamie felt her head pounding. She struggled to open her eyes only to find her staring at the ceiling of school. Jamie put a hand on her forehead and winced in pain as she sat up.
Frankie.
Jamie looked to the left.
Nobody.
Jamie looked to the right.
Not a soul.
Jamie put one hand on a leg of a desk and the other on the edge of the table and pulled herself to her feet.
Jamie started inspecting the entire room. The blinds on the windows were shut, so Jamie walked over to them and tried to twist the rod to open them but it felt locked in place as if somebody was holding it against her. She then put both hands on it and twisted with all her might and it seemed to be working; until she broke the rod completely off and only shut blinds remained. Jamie looked at the rod in her hand
Ugh!
and tossed it to the ground behind her.
Jamie went to reach for the blinds to spread them with her hands but before they got there, she felt her face go white and her heart began to race, like she had just seen a ghost:
The rod she just tossed didn't make a sound when she tossed it.
Jamie's heart was ready to rip through her chest, her hands still up as she was afraid to even move an inch.
Jamie's eyes moved first, looking as far left as she could.
Her head moved next, then her body and she turned around.
Jamie gasped and backed up into the window.
Her eyes were met with her own.
She was seeing herself but a different her. Jamie noticed she had the rod in her hand but her other hand was dripping blood to the floor, her hair was up in a bun and it revealed a bleeding wound on the right side of her head. Jamie's clone's face was dirty and definitely unwashed for a good three or four days.
The copy stared straight ahead right back at Jamie.
What the fuck is going on!?
"You know the answer to that."
Jamie was startled to hear her own voice not from her own mouth.
"This isn't real. this can't be." Jamie responded. Her head pounding again.
"No." the clone said, "Its not really real, but i was meant to see you. but we don't have a lot of time."
"Okay. i'm officially crazy. i'm literally talking to myself."
The copy's straight face turned angry and in a flash of light the clone let go of the rod and held Jamie's hand together. Jamie was shaken and stared shocked at herself.
The rod clanked to the ground.
"Listen to me right now. I can't explain everything right now, but when we meet again, if you haven't figured it out by then, i'll tell you."
Jamie was still speechless. The eyes of her clone were now changing colors. from blue to brown to hazel to red and purple and green back to blue.
"I'm going to let go of you." the replica said. "Then you have to hold out your hand. Say okay."
Hesitating as she watched her own eyes alternated beautifully, she responded:
"Okay."
Jamie was let go and the clone held out her bloodied hand palm down. Jamie reluctantly held out her hand underneath hers, palm up. Blood started dripping into her hand. at first it was fine.
Jamie started to say something but the clones eyes were closed.
and then Jamie felt it.
Searing pain singed her hand and the blood on her hand began to glow dimly but she didn't move.
The more they stood there the brighter her hand got.
Jamie looked at herself, but then she saw something, a black figure moving behind her clone, approaching, actually getting larger.
"Hey! Behin-"
the clone's eyes opened in fear and shock. and the black figure stepped back as pseudo Jamie fell backwards. Jamie was shaken and she was speechlessly shocked again. the black figure's shadowy face seemed to smile as it approached her, knife in hand. Jamie Panicked and held out her glowing hand.
Nothing happened.
She felt the thing grab her wrist and it was almost as if it was sucking the life out of her as she fell to her knees.
"Finally!" The shadow things demonic voice boomed and echoed. "I have slain the chosen! Who didn't even put up much of a fight." He looked her in the eyes.
The shadow man froze mid knife swing.
He was trembling. with fear.
He saw Jamie's eyes.
They turned a vibrant cherry red.
Jamie took her hand that wasn't in the hand of the shadow man and threw the strongest punch she will ever throw.
The Shadow man was sent across the entire room and into the wall in the blink of an eye.
Jamie walked over to herself, bleeding out on the floor and knelt down and grabbed the clones hand.
the clone mumbled something.
"What?" Jamie said and leaned in close.
"You passed lesson one" she said.
A blinding white light shone from other Jamie and it faded.
Jamie was awake.
