I fixed Cameron's tie in the limo.
"I hate these events man" he said.
"Stop. You look fine, you'll do great" I said. He smiled.
"G is real lucky to have a girl like you in his life" he said. I looked at my hands.
"You are together right?" He asked. I shook my head.
"Oh yikes. I thought- cause he said he-" he started but caught himself.
"He said what?" I asked.
"He likes you Lina" he said. I shook my head
"Yeah right cam" I replied.
"I'm being honest. You should make a move. Throw him off" he said.
"You think so?" I asked.
"I know so. If two people belong together, they should be together" he said. I slowly nodded. We pulled up to the event, and cameras began flashing. Cameron helped me out of the limo, and placed his hand on my back.
"Ready?" He asked. I nodded and followed him. We posed and smiled, got asked if we were together. It wasn't that difficult. Cameron had to get interviewed so his manager led me inside. After taking a seat, Stassie sat next to me.
"You look.. amazing" she said. The dress was white, and the back had lace detailing which I added crystals to. It was fitted, and flowed out in a mermaid style. My hair was in a lose messy updo, and Cameron sent someone over to do my makeup.
"Thank you.. you look amazing too" I replied. She smiled.
"Where's Sam?" I asked.
"Carpet with the guys. I got bored and wanted to hang out with a girl" she said. I nodded. After chatting she cleared her throat.
"I wish I had more girl friends like you. Ky and jordyn are always busy being bad bitches and having careers and shit." She said.
"I'm always here" I replied. She smiled.
"I know. So question" she started.
"Yes?" I asked.
"I.. I see the way you look at jack.. and I'm just wondering.. do you like him?" She asked. I bit my lip.
"I.." I started, taking a deep breath.
"Yeah.. I do.."I said. She looked content with my answer.
"Shut up you guys would be everything together" she said. I felt myself blush.
"No honestly. I really think you should say something" she said.
"I'm just scared.. you know he's my best friend.. he means absolutely everything to me.. and I don't wanna mess it up.." I said.
"Yeah but.. Lina what if you not making a move, ruins it?" She said.
"Do you really think I should say something?" I asked. She shrugged
"Start slow. Flirt. Test the waters." She said. I nodded. Just then, the guys walked in. She excused herself, walking over to Sammy and I sighed.

Jacks POV.
We just walked the carpet. Constant questions, getting asked about Madison. All I could think of was Lina. Stassie said she would talk to her. In the limo she said that she would quickly do the carpet and go inside to talk to Lina. If Lina liked me, she would pinch my arm twice. If she didn't, once. Even in a crowded room, I managed to spot Lina. She looked... breathtaking. Stassie stood up, and my heart began to pound. She slowly made her way over to us, reaching for Sam. She softly pinched my arm once....
And then once more.
It was twice. I looked over at her and she winked. Giving me the green light. I fixed my tie, and cleared my throat, walking over to her.
"Hey.." I said.

Lina's POV.
I got lost in thought. My mind became a pool once Stassie told me to make a move. I couldn't. I couldn't. Then I saw jack. He looked amazing. All black, and he still managed to stand out. Seeing him, my mind began to wonder again. I came to my senses when I heard his voice next to me.
"Hey" he said. I looked up and smiled at him.
"Hey handsome" I teased. He smiled and sat next to me.
"You look amazing.." he said.
"You don't clean up bad yourself." I replied. He smiled.
"Where's cam?" He asked.
"He had some interview on the carpet." I said. He nodded. The guys made their way over, and pretty soon we were joined by Cam. After dinner, the party began. We danced, and then Jack led me away from the group as say you won't let go by James Arthur began playing.
"My songgggg" I said. He smiled and nodded.
"Your song" he said smiling. We swayed with the music and he seemed nervous.
"You okay?" I asked. He bit his lip.
"I will be.." he said. I scrunched my brows together.
"Enjoy the songgg" he said. I rolled my eyes and sighed.
"Your tie is a mess." I said. I moved my hand from his shoulder, adjusting his tie. He watched me the entire time.
"Why are you staring at me" I said, suddenly feeling self conscious.
"Lina.." he started.
"What?" I asked. He cleared his throat, and a lady tapped my shoulder. I faced her.
"You're Lina right?" She asked. I nodded.
"Please come with me. My friends and I over there LOVE your gown and we heard you designed it. We want you to design some stuff for us" she said smiling. I looked over at jack, my heart sinking. He game me a smile and nodded for me to go. I walked over, and watched as jack went to Stassie.

After the party, Stassie decided to sleep over.
"So why did you and jack stop talking in the first place" she asked.
"Well.. once jack decided that he wanted to go to LA for work full time.. I supported him as any best friend would. But he wouldn't return calls... he would flake last minute.. and then prom came.. he was my date.. he promised he was gonna be there.. even said that he was in Omaha the day of.. and he never showed up.. he was my ride and all.. so at prom I kept thinking he was gonna show up and he didn't. He said he was gonna be at my graduation.. didn't show.. just things like that.. but then I saw him in person.. and I couldn't be mad anymore honestly.. I missed him.." I said. She nodded.
"I'm glad you guys made up" she said. I smiled and nodded.
"Same" I replied.
