Chapter 9- Can we?

Chloe's POV

I was sat in my room like usual playing music loudly. But this time I wasn't trashing my room or smoking or anything like that. I had a note book in hand and a pen. Yes for once in my whole damn life I am planning something. The plan is to find the perfect way to ask Max Caulfield out on a date. The second part of the plan is the date. I have been sat here for about 2 hours trying to come up with something but of course I had no ideas. I lay back on my bed in frustration and I looked at the time. it was near enough 5:00pm.  I quickly decided to write down some notes down. Just some simple date ideas. In the end I end up having a perfect idea. I gather some stuff together and put it in my truck so I don't forget anything. Then I start to plan on things I could say.  In the end I end up texting her

*MESSAGES*

Chloe: Hey Super-Max. Can you meet me at the lighthouse in a hour?

Max: Yeah sure. {^-^}

Chloe: NO EMOJI!!!

Max- Sorry :3

*END OF MESSAGES*

I sigh as I sit back on my bed. Everything is set. I'm still so unsure if this is going to work. I shake my head as I get up and walk out to my truck. I jump and start the short drive to the lighthouse.

Max's POV

I smiled as I read the texts from Chloe.  Maybe the was a date. I'm a little nervous to take it that way. But either way I get to spend some time with her. Get together a few things. And then pick up my guitar and start playing it to pass the time. The hour seems to go past very quickly.  I make my way to the bus stop and catch the bus to the lighthouse. As I arrive I see Chloe's truck parked up and I smile as I start the walk up to the top of the cliff.
To my surprise Chloe is waiting for me half way up. She looks a little nervous.
"Hey Max.." She greets me with a smile. "Umm s-so I know this isn't the best way to go about this but...umm..." She was so nervous. I haven't seen her like this in so long. She was always so confident but seeing this side of Chloe made me smile. "Max I hella like you and I was hoping this could be a date? Maybe?" She has a light blush on her cheeks and I think I do too. I just nod. I'm shocked that she likes me the same way. She smiles and takes my hand. "I have something to show you." She says happily, clearly having her confidence back. Then she hands me a blindfold.

"Chloe seriously?" I ask

"Yes I want this to  be perfect and I want it to be a surprise" She smiles. I sigh as I tie the blindfold around my head. She slowly leads me up to the lighthouse, one arm around my shoulders and the other holding my hand. Then we come to a stop...
