New Country

Alex's POV:
Tears prick at my eyes but I just blink them away. I can't cry, not infront of my mum.
"I'm sorry Alex," she whispers, sensing how upset I am "we can't stay here any longer, I really hope you understand"
"Where?" I quietly mumble
"Hm?"
"Where are we moving?"
My mum sighed and hesitated before answering my question, but when she did answer.. it was in a soft, small voice
"Canada"
I felt a quick and sudden burning rage inside of me
"NO!!!" I screamed and quickly stood up, my mum then shook a bit and moved back
I screamed and ran out of the house, to my best friends house.
I pounded on the door loudly because I knew she was home alone, her parents being on a trip for work in China and all
The door swung open and she told there, her fringe almost entirely covering her eyes but I could still see concern and fear there.
"A-Alex... wh-whats wrong?"
Instead of answering I walked in and stormed into the living room and sat down on her couch, shoving my head into my hands.
I hear her walk in and feel her sit beside me
"I-I'm sorry Ruby..." I say as I break down into tears.
A warm hand is placed on my back, moving up an down, giving me comfort.
"It's okay, what's wrong?" Her voice says softly
I sigh and lift up my head, with a hot tear running down my cheek
"I'm... I'm moving"
My best friend's eyes go wide, her eyes are like.. the size of the moon.
"Moving?! Where?!"
"Canada..."
Ruby begins to cry into
"N-no!! You can't leave! You're my only friend! I have nobody else"
I wrap my arms around her body, and I quietly whisper to her as her tears soak the shoulder of my shirt
"Sh sh sh, it'll be okay, we can still be friends, I'm not leaving you for good"
Her body draws away from mine as she gives me a puzzling look with her beautiful grey eyes.
"How?"
"We can Skype, every day, I'll make my mum get me a plan so I have free texting in Canada and here, we will still be best friends, I promise"
A bright smile grows onto her tear stained face
"Perfect" she says and cuddles onto my lap as I put on her favourite tv show; Attack On Titan
Shhhh just between us, I hate it, I mean anime? Ew it's awful but she loves it so I suffer through it.
My left hand runs through her silky pink hair and we drift off to sleep.

Hey guys!!! I hope you're enjoying Black and Blue, I've been wanting to write this story for a while and I got the idea while talking to one of my best friends about a year ago, as we were talking about the guy I loved then.
He ended up breaking my heart so I never did. But now I have an amazing boyfriend who I've been dating for 10 months and it just so happens his favourite colour is blue and mine is black ^~^
So ye, Alex and Iris are based off us but with some twists of course
Hehe I hope this story does well, I'm working pretty hard on it (I literally wrote this entire chapter during school today)
