Try to make it look like it's all somehow getting better, 'cause I know how to play it pretty good against the measure
Oliver gave a gasp as he sat up abruptly, immediately hyperventilating as he was unfamiliar with his surroundings. In fact, he was sure he was in a teal green version of an utopia. The walls were painted a teal green, the curtains, not completely opaque, revealing the grey skies and raining that was occurring.
The bed he lay on was comfortable, and on the nightstand beside him was a familiar feature. His American Goldfinch, James.
Oliver wrapped his arms around the cage in reassurance. "You're alive...at least I remember you..." he whispered with a smile. The bird chirped as if to say, "Yes, I am!"
With a small grin, he rechecked his surroundings, but unfortunately, they didn't ring a bell.
"Where are we?" Oliver wondered, unable to remember where he last was. I don't even remember my name..?
A loud and uncertain creak was heard, and Oliver turned his gaze towards the intruder.
Hatsune Miku gave a sigh of relief at the boy's seemingly stable consciousness. "I'm glad to know that you're looking okay," she smiled as she set a tray of food next to James. "Now sit back down!" she ordered, and Oliver, out of fear, complied with her wishes.
"Who are you?" he whisperer, unable to raise his voice anymore.
"My name is Miku Hatsune, and I found you lying on the street during this terrible storm, so I saved you," Miku briefly paraphrased, sitting on the teal green chair by the nightstand. "Do you remember anything?"
Oliver hesitantly took the ramen that was on the tray, then shook his head, which hurt a lot. "Wh-why is my eyesight limited?"
Miku slowly shrugged. "I found you that...way..? I mean, your eye was bandaged when I found you, and so I gave you some new bandages. Sorry if I didn't do a good job." It's been awhile since I helped someone out of something this major, huh? she thought.
Oliver inspected his frail and easily breakable body, seeing that his legs were bandaged as well. He didn't like this. Looking like he was so weak and naïve.
"D'you know where you're from?" Miku asked, then slapped her forehead. "Of course you can't if you can't even remember your own name..."
"I-I think it's...Oliver...?" the blonde said as he tilted his head, struggling to remember a small but important piece of information.
"That's so kawaii! Okay, then! We shall be friends!" Miku proposed, taking Oliver's hands, who stiffened at her soft and gentle touch, but then relaxed.
When he saw her smile, he couldn't help but smile as well.
"Y-yeah...friends..."
Shorter than my life span, I know. (What? You think I'm gonna live for 534 years?)
But! At least I tried.
I strongly feel as if this isn't getting anywhere, but the lack of Ollie fics keep getting on my nerves.
I mean, OMG, this boy is so precious, we need to protect him from the evil world.
(Ask me how that's working for me, since I never let my favorite characters have a happily ever after XD idiot)
I also changed the name because when I was implying the suicide part, Secrets of Wysteria was not a really good supporter.
Actually, that was my first Oliver original song (thanks Steampianist).
