Back and forth. Back and forth. Back and forth.

"Toby you're going to make yourself sick by rocking that fast."

Back and forth. Back and forth. Back and--

"Toby, you're going to make ME sick watching you rock that fast."

Jeff stops me from rocking and I glare up at him. I shrug off his hands and look over and Masky lying on the ground motionless; his jacket lying next to him covered in blood.

"Masky is going to be fine, Toby. You don't need to worry." Clockwork says. I glare at her too and look away.

I haven't worn my mask in a while and my face feels weird. It was irritating me though. With Masky being shot and unconscious for the past three days, it felt like it was suffocating me. I ended up ripping it when I took it off. Clockwork is sitting in next to me stitching it up.

"You sh-should teach me h-how to do th-that." I say to Clockwork. She looks at me.

"Do what?"

"Stitching."

"Oh. It's simple really. You just thread a needle, knot the thread, and stick it in the fabric over and over until it's fixed." She says. I fiddle my fingers and look over at Masky.

"D-Did you d-do that to Masky?" I ask. Clockwork stops stitching and I see her hand shake.

"Uh, y-yeah. I had to stitch up his wound." She says. I glance over at Masky again. "Toby, don't worry. He's okay."

"I just c-can't stop th-thinking about what w-w-would've happened if-if Hoodie a-an-and I weren't th-there..." I say.

"But you were there." Says Jeff. I sigh and stand up; my body sways for a moment before I walk away from them. I know Masky is okay, yet I can't help feeling there is something wrong.

I glance around to Masky and fix my eyes on his wound. Don't you die on me. I think. I look at his maskless face and sigh. I wonder how he got here in the first place. His face still looks so innocent, as though he hasn't committed any sort of crime in his life...

Masky's mouth moves and I hurry over to him. He becomes motionless again. My eyebrows furrow. "What?" I bend down next to him and stare at his calm face.

"Liar."

My eyes widen.

"G-guys!" I shout. Everyone turns to look at me in confusion. "Masky j-just spoke!"

"What?" Clockwork jumps up and hurries towards us. Jeff, LJ, and Slender follow. "What'd he say?" She asks.

"He s-s-said 'liar'." I say.

"Liar? Why would he say that?" Jeff asks.

"No idea."

"LIAR!" Masky jerks straight up, eyes wide and distant, then falls back down with a thud.

"Oh my God." Clockwork quickly lifts Masky's shirt up to check his stitches to make sure his sudden movement didn't rip them up.

"Who is he talking about?" Slender asks.

"No idea." Jeff says.

"The man with the glasses." I say.

"What?" Everyone says at once. I look around at them and sigh.

"The m-man with the glasses. Th-that's who h-he's talking about." I say.

"How do you know?" Clockwork asks.

"Because he's the one who shot Masky!" I shout.

"Toby calm down." Jeff says.

"The man with th-the g-glasses could've b-been trying t-to tell Masky s-something b-before he shot him." I say. "M-Masky's just now saying l-liar."

The silence that follows is eery. I stare down at Masky, wondering what the man with the glasses could've said to him...

Then Masky's eyes shoot open and his hand quickly grabs my arm and pulls me down.

"Your mom is dead." He croaks.
